Hi Meso, new member here, but have lurked for quite some time. I'm pretty satisfied with the way my body has progressed so far as a semi-consistent natural lifter for the past 6 years, muscle mass is decent but I'm having a VERY rough time getting that last 10% of body fat down (I estimate I'm around 22-25). Conquering my hunger is a losing battle, especially around midnight. I'm not looking to get huge or compete, just have a nice lean physique and chisel out what I already have. The only thing that really worked(once) was a severe caloric restriction fueled by pure willpower and hate, but I was so afraid of losing the muscle mass I worked so hard for that I couldn't stick with it.

Which brings me to the reason I created an account. I plan on just trying an Anavar only cycle, maybe start with 20mg/day for a week then up to 40mg/day for the next 5 weeks. I was thinking of doing bloods day 0, week 3, week 6 or is that overkill. Also I'm a bit confused about PCT. I read that Anavar doesn't really suppress T and I might live without PCT, but at the same time people recommend Nolva/Tamoxifen and/or Clomid. I have no clue what proper dosages for those would be, also I don't want to go blind which apparently is a thing??

Any advice from the veterans that are probably laughing their ass off at this noob being anxious about fucking Anavar is appreciated. Love ya.
 
Anavar only cycle. Phew. Prepare for a lot of harsh critique. There is so much information out there, in particular in this forum.

I'd suggest getting a comprehensive blood panel done first, organ ultra sound and all that. And then, when you are absolutly sure that your training, sleep and food is on point. Than you could consider going on just 200-250mg of Test E a week split into 2-3 injections.

250-300mg of Test is more lipid friendly than going all out on Anavar only. Which will obliterate your lipids and for such short duration its simply not worth it. Might as well go on TRT and harvest its long term benefits.
