Appreciate the in depth article. I have always known stan to be hard on joints but I really didn’t know why. In my younger days I would always feel great on it till about week 3, then the joints would definitely start hurting, especially shoulders and elbows in particular. I thought it was just due to the compound lowering estrogen but I had a feeling there was more to it.

Winny is surprisingly niche when combined with gestagenic androgens like oxymetholone. There's a complementary effect between the two in terms of joint support, and it can be used to great effect for women and men to cut or recomp. Its apt use in contest bodybuilding can range from recomp and cutting, all the way through peak week right up to the show, for anyone.

It seems to be a trend of running either winstrol or anadrol (sometimes both) for peak weak. Both are still used in some countries for clinical use and are approved for human consumption (US excluded).

How would you say they compare in terms of toxicity for say two weeks leading up to a contest? And which would you prefer just out of curiosity? I've never ran either but I believe anadrol gives a fuller look and winstrol gives a harder/drier look.

I think that Winny is more toxic than Drol bro, but I don't really view either as particularly toxic at sane dosing, like one should always follow. Basically yes, Drol gives a fuller look and Winny deffffinitely a drier/harder one.

Tend to stick to Injectable Orals nowadays as aren't harsh (for me) on stomach and appetite etc Also as far as I'm aware Inj Orals relieve some of the potential liver issues by bypassing firstpass Metabolism reducing some liver strain & the knock on added lipid issues to a degree from liver strain (although do hit the liver through bloodstream eventually nonetheless)
My first experience was with Winny Suspension (water based) and was warned off it by so many saying winny is awful to inject, terrible pip, will get welts and infections going subQ dont dont do it etc.
Well on the contrary I had a great time SubQ 50mg EOD (Injectable extends half life to over 24hours i believe) and had some amazing gains with minimal sides if any. It felt more bioavailable (like 50-75mg a day oral results wise)
I did attempt a couple IM injections just to see and the PIP was noticeable for sure but nothing to cry about. SubQ did leave small bumps under my skin for a few days or so but not visible nor painful. No welts or Infections or tearfull nights of pain like
I was "warned" to not come crying back about…
My second Injectable oral was Inj Dbol (oil based). Again half life is increased to 24 hours or so from what ive read, so EOD injections can supply stable levels although I initially chose ED injections.
I did this IM as oil based and suffered no pip other than the odd occasion as per expected here and there with standard Injectables. What I did notice @ 50mg ED is that It felt more like 100mg+! I had to lower my dose to 25mg EOD to mitigate sides of high BP, Bloat, HighE2 and fatigue. @ 25mg EOD I honestly felt like I was on at least 50-75mg a Day and the gains spoke for themselves so will be using again. Ive done some reading and majority of Inj Orals appear to have this Higher Bioavailability and increased Half life effect, which is a bonus; as ive hit my 30s+ I do tend to feel sides more (esp with Orals and 19’Nors) so for me Injectable Orals will be the way forward I think! Haven't spotted inj Anavar or Tbol but would snap it up if/when I can find!
But yeah, Winstrol, great compound, even the dreaded Water Based Injectable Winstrol did me only good so there's my 2pence
