Do you ever feel guilty for using steroids?

I have never had one moment of regret. The health risks from using AAS are offset by the benefits of regular exercise.
That's the way I see it man.
All these fat fucks eating fast food everyday is way more unhealthy on your heart and bp.
Some of the 'healthiest' people I know cycle gear.

Just as guilty as I feel for drinking synthetic estrogen laced water out of plastic lacing the water with more e2.

Only a bitch would feel bad for this. It's like feeling guilty for eating healthy
Who's healthier....the guys like you and me who drink only water, e2 laced or not, and take roids or that dude drinking the two 40s or mountain dew and doesn't even work out. Guess that depends on how meticulous we are with bloodwork lol!

If anyone feels guilty for taking roids, you probably shouldn't be taking them. Juice is supposed to make you feel badass, not bad. Unless you run your Superdrol too long, that could make you feel pretty bad. [emoji23]

I feel like a fucking man. End of fucking story.lol. I must say my bull shit tolerance has indeed dropped a lot

Let's be real bc what's implied is running AAS is, in and of itself somehow "healthy", when the FACT is these DRUGS have many UNHEALTHY side effects.

And few of Meso's Noobs have the faintest idea how to diminish the risk inherent to Purchasing, Pining and Pushing any PED!

Let's NOT confuse the potential benefits of legitimate TRT with that of anabolic agents, the latter being something much different, and are NOT HEALTHY, especially when compared to the HEALTHY benefits of EXERCISING, DIETING and leading a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE.

And it's for that reason I generally discourage the use of PEDS as they tend to be a crutch or an excuse for accomplishing that which is best pursued NATURALLY. (The exception being competitive sports or BB at the professional level)

Leading a healthy lifestyle and IF we had PICTURES of every member perhaps then you and others would understand exactly what I mean.

This is a fair point. If it were healthy to take supraphysiological doses of testosterone, or large doses of any other hormone, it wouldn't negatively impact so many other health markers.

It's more like feeling guilty for smoking weed for non medicinal purposes. I take test for TRT, but I take higher doses of test on a recreational level. Yes, I try to minimize risk and I have a pretty good handle on it, but that doesn't mean the risk is eliminated by any means. Simply sticking the needle in my body is a risk, much less what happens after I depress the plunger.

Likewise, although I don't live in a state where medicinal weed is legal, I smoke weed to combat hyperhidrosis, irritable bowel syndrome, and insomnia. But I smoke it more often than I need to because I like it. Is it very risky, health wise? Not likely.

Let's be honest with ourselves. When we take test as part of a Dr. prescribed TRT regimen, or if that's not possible adhere to standard TRT protocol without crossing over into cycling, that can be healthy. But when we take steroids for any other reason, it's technically recreational use. If you're a pro bodybuilder you might be able to say it's not recreational, but that doesn't make it any healthier.

I still don't feel guilty for either one though.

Some of the 'healthiest' people I know cycle gear.

Exactly, and this is why the studies get so murky. People who run gear, eat clean, exercise etc vs no gear, and dirty living or a mixed comfort of factors..... who's to say what caused what?

And more importantly, who's to say that chugging 45s and eating burgers every day is legal and fine, but buying and using HGH and test is illegal?

There's no sense - and when some laws are capricious and arbitrary, we lose respect for all laws.

Dr Jim means well, but his comments get a bit too pure at times, we live in a messy world, most things are grey.

Studies are often biased anyway, especially depending on who funded them. That's what makes it difficult to sift objective fact from subjective conclusion.

And, I agree that with many people, it is indeed the case they lose respect for all laws. However, the law does have its place. Other people only lose respect for the laws that are capricious and seem arbitrary, which are typically laws that restrict personal autonomy and actions that don't harm others. I.e., things you shouldn't feel guilty about unless you happen to harm others as a result of said decision.

@truthwalker

One time @dr_jim called me "the most ignorant amateur asshole to ever grace the boards of meso" or something to that effect.

To be fair, it was in response to an incredibly shitty post on my part. I think I may have even apologized. [emoji38]

The problem with a lot of these studies are the people they use. Big variable there.

Credit to you OP for asking this question. It shows you're thinking and aware that Aas ain't no joke.

You guys don't need to worry I know its stupid to do anything bofore I'm 25

But ^^^^ calling "bullshit" on this statement haha
16 yr old's don't just join Meso. Obviously the gear has you thinking to some degree to ask. Don't be foolish hold out dude.
Too answer your question, no I never "felt guilty" for using Aas.Only 2 things that caused the "guilty mind" looking back. Drinking and driving often in my 20's (very fortunate didn't hurt anyone) The other "succumbing to peer pressure" in HS. Started using hard drugs and years later it became a full addiction.

Btw OP if you're feeling like I'm preaching to you. Good! Cuz I am lol ;)Due to working with severely troubled teens many your age. GL young man

I hope you don't believe running AAS changes what most folk eat or whether or not they choose to exercise bc I can tell you unequivocally it does NOT.

The fact is bc eating right and exercising are both learned behaviors, the addition of AAS generally increases ones appetite and tends to make fat folk fatter!

The combined effect is anything BUT "healthy"!

It's for this reason maladaptive lifestyles must first "corrected" before any PED is
run.

Oh absolutely Dr Jim that's not what I meant by my comment.
I just meant that I think people with a bodybuilding lifestyle are more aware of their health than someone that smokes, eats garbage, and sits on their ass all day getting fat.
