Does anyone here notice decreased pump when on BP meds?

I suffer from slighlt elevated bp. New after age 35. I also suffer from raynauds, which is terrible in the winter. So I have been trying to see a bp of 120s over 80s just as a personal goal. And then was hoping the vaso dialater like cialis would maybe just help with the raynauds. Last night for example my bp was 139 over 82. So def hypertensive. My resting heart rate is in the high 50s sometimes 60 beats per min. Honestly the metoprolol didn't help my bp at all. Just lowered my heart rate like you said. However been reading about nebivolol and it's quite an interesting medication. I think I'll try the combo you suggested first and see what happens. Important to note I'm about 200lb ad 6ft. Under 15 percent body fat. Closer to 12. And I was on trt for a while, currently on 350mg test a week. So I'm not over weight, and my drug protocol isn't crazy. I just suffer from bp issues. Runs in the family. Been doing morning cardio, when my cardio and diet is really on the top number will come down 5 points or so. The bottom number will as well. But a perfect diet takes a toll after a while lmao

Let me reiterate 120/80 is considered elevated under current guidelines. Anything over 120/70 is.

IMO your RHR rate is borderline low and the Nebiv may not be a good idea.

The combo of Cialis and oral Minox helped my Reynauds. Low dose oral Minoxidil (5mg/day) is particularly effective in dilating micro blood vessels alleviating the symptoms and restoring blood flow.

With Cialis, Oral Minox, Amlodipine, 40mg Telm should be sufficient to get your BP into the ideal range. Oral Minox is a very old BP med, very safe, and 5mg is an infant dose. It'll thicken your hair (and beard) as well.

Consider a daily tablet organizer to keep all this straight if you aren't using one now. However, don't remove Telm (or the combo Telm/Amlodipine) tablets from the blister pack until immediately before use. They're particularly sensitive to humidity reducing their potency.

Yeah, Losartan might be killing your pumps—it messes with blood flow and could throw off your electrolytes. I’d take a hard look at your sodium, potassium, and water intake. Also, if you’ve changed PEDs or your diet recently, that could be part of it too.
Exactly how does Losartan mess with blood flow?

Everybody,

I’ve been on this board for half a year getting great info and exchange of ideas. I even started taking the recommended 5mg daily of the Cialis to help with my “pumps” but alas I admit I’m still not quite sure what exactly “pumps” are. Both insults and explanations are invited

I hear the lower then 120/80. That was just my initial goal. Even lower would be even better. I'll give the protocol a try

Good luck. Remember, BP meds generally take 2 weeks to see the full effect, and about 4 weeks for any sides to resolve, so patience.
