How was training, shedding, with the boxer? He’s currently on my list of dogs but I’ve never got to meet a boxer that wasn’t just a caged dog.
Boxers are actually my favorite breed. We inherited this one at 2 years old but I've owned a few. Even though the hair is short, they do shed quite a bit. It's not the tumbleweeds blowing across the floor like the golden, but it is there.
This boxer is great. I had to break him from getting in the trash and snatching steaks off the counter, but he caught on quick.
I raised another male from a pup and although he was dumb as shit, he was still a great dog. A female I got from a family who couldn't keep her was the sweetest, most loving dog I ever had and she kept the big dummy entertained and out of trouble.
In my opinion, boxers take very little work to be great dogs. They're on the high energy side so they need exercise.
