Doing better every week!

Today I went to my Weight Watchers meeting and weighted in. Wow I loss 8 lbs. in the first week talk about doing good. I knew last night when I woke up freezing that I must have lost a lot of weight.

I am still doing a lot of walking and stretching and I am thinking about doing some dumb bell lifting. But may be I will wait a month then try it.

I just wish I could get my Dr. to put me on the shots every week a long time ago.

For my next blood test I am going to add.
LH
FSH
SHBG
To my
Total and Free T
Total E and E2
DHT
DHEA
I find it hard to believe that I am still making LH and FSH after reading about how we shout down after going on TRT. I think my Dr. is telling me a story so he does not have to try HCG with my shots.

My wife is having a hard time she was up most of the night. We are sure it is her Thyroid med change that is doing this to her. She keeps waking up with a tightness in her chest and tingling going down her arms.

My Dr. told her he can't make a change on the Armor he started her on it is to soon. She was low on her last test and the Dr. just 2 weeks ago upped her Armor to 60 mgs. It looks like it takes some time for the med to make a change for the good. At least we know it is not her heart. After her being in the Hosp. over the weekend.

Phil;

Be a little careful with the Weightwatchers diet. You experience a really rapid wieight loss because the total calories that they allow you is pretty low. It's true, you lose rapidly, but you loose a LOT of lean mass.

re:

I'm not doctor...but I suppose the t4 could do that to her if she went hyper. I've never experienced anything like that and I've taken up to 200mcg of T3 (pretty big dose).

This was my first week I have been on the diet before and it slows down to less the 2 lbs a week.
As for my wife I asked her to get a copy of her tests but she keeps forgetting.

re:

The thyroid meds can increase BP pretty significantly, so if she already had high BP, high cholesterol, any heart problems, etc. it could pose some problems.

Her BP is good on the low side. Last Sunday she had a pressure in her chest and tingling going down her arms. Before this she had just been to the Dr. he retested her Thyroid and she was low so he upped her aromor from 30 mgs to 60 mgs. She told him about the pressure in her chest and the tingling going down her arms. So he did an EKG nothing wrong. She went back in for a stress test but would not let them put her in the image X-Ray for her heart and arteries. She hates being in closed or small places. So on Sunday when it started up I think she had 3 episodes in an hour. So we went to the Hosp. They did all kinds of tests and her heart is fine. I got her home the next day they kept her over night. Now last night she was fine she even stayed up watching TV with me till 11:00pm. Before she would lay on the couch at 7:00 pm and sleep until I went to bed at 11:00. So she is doing better no more chest pressure or tingling down her arms. We think it was her Thyroid being to low.
