Government isn't the answer to all our problems but you know what there are many things a government does well.

Have we always had the department of education?I swear man, you guys sound like a bunch of fucking Antarcists. obviously the government needs to be reformed. the answer is you don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. go to Mexico go to some Third World fucking countries and go see how well those democracies are working. better yet go live in the Middle East they don't have working democracies, board of Education no EPA no USDA .We all know what paradises those countries areis that what you guys want? sounds like it
Two of my cousins use the va as well as one of my best friends. Is it perfect? Of course not. But they are happy with their services. They certainly don't deserve to pay more money for those same services. They paid thier debt.
The schools aren't perfect either. But they were good enough for us. Every one cant afford private schools.
While its true there is a huge gap in baby boomers coming into benefits and younger generations paying into it the system is far from broken. The money is there to bridge the gap till more people can pay in. Trillions spent on iraq, which is now isis's, billions spent on bullshit pr nation building, or the trillions spent on a bloated military. Billions wasted on government positions. Or the billions lost in unfair trade policies that have always had us at a disadvantage. The money is there to bridge the gap.
Thanks for the genius compliment btw @rutman!!
I'd have her say i love you Mr Trump while I was killing it just to break her. [emoji83]I would so bang Megyn Kelly
Really...i would![]()
You're welcome!
I totally agree with you that all the money that this country has spent over the last 16 years has been completely wasted... All we can do at this point is hope that Trump will renegotiate the failed trade deals and not get us involved in more nation building. But even before Bush got us involved in the Middle East, social security was still going run out of money if major changes weren't made to the system. Which politicians don't have the balls to tackle...

Thanks for ignoring. the answer is no. I'm sure most would say they're not happy with our education system.I hope he points us in the right direction to. Because this country is truly running out of time. Half of the stuff he says I really agree with and the other half I feel is truly unAmerican. And he's talked a good game about how he's not tied to special interests and he's not a career politician but dude he is tied to money, big business, his donors etc. he's bought and paid for just like the rest of them.
I just don't want you guys who really believe in him to get blindsided with what I think the reality is going to be.
Hope for the best.
Thanks for ignoring. the answer is no. I'm sure most would say they're not happy with our education system.
And it's not anarchism its called minarchism.
Not ignoring, getting ready for work. of course there's problems with the Department of Education. there's problems with every form and facet of government. but I'm glad we have paved roads I'm glad we have airports I'm glad we have clean food. I'm glad the EPA no longer lets the local mining companies dump their waste water aresenic into the rivers and creeks here. I'm glad my town has somewhat clean air. it doesn't look like downtown Beijing or downtown Calcutta. I'm glad that we have dedicated teachers like my wife that bust her ass every day to try to educate and raise the best people that she can. Without any sort of ideology by the way!!
her budget gets cut every year to where she supplies so many of the supplies in her classroom.
So yes I believe it's extremely shortsighted and self sabotaging to say that we just need to dismantle all these different branches of government. of course there needs to be reforms and of course there needs to be commonsense solutions.
but that's always the rub isnt it?
of course you can always move to Afghanistan, Africa, or the Middle East. Theres no Department of Education there's no EPA there's no USDA. I think it would be perfect for youjk
You forgot collect taxesThe government only does 2 things well... waste money and kill.
You forgot collect taxes
Their gonna get their damn tax money
This is what 12 yrs of Catholic private school doesYou don't have to go to a private schools. Why do you think the public schools are good enough for you? and NO we've not alway's had the dept of edudacion.
Actually, they need private industry to help them kill. The government only does 2 things well... waste money and kill.
Err, no. Military spending is a drop in the ocean compared to domestic spending. I'm not happy about that. I am as anti war as a person can get, but facts are facts. Its funny reading this shit. Believe it or not I really agree with most you guys about cutting spending and waste. I think where we differ is which forms of government need to be reformed.
My grandfather retired from one of the big three weapon developers. He tells stories of how they were instructed to inflate the cost of the weapon systems a thousand fold when the contracts were guaranteed to be won domestically. Instructed by the navy, army etc.
Just like my government accounts that spend every dime on thier budgets at the end of the year. If they show a savings they are deducted that on the following years budget. Monumental waste. Trillions. For what?
Everyone loves to hate on welfare, aid programs etc. Thats not where the big losses and waste are. They are just easy targets.
