Anyone into drones? i don't kw anything about them but i want a good one that will follow me all by itself when we snowmobile, hike, bike, etc.

i really want to get into it especially when we go see natural wonders.

i just don't know what brands or types to look at since the market is saturated

We have an Inspire 1 at the FD. It’s pretty strong with a real good camera. We use it for searches and grassfires. Controls easy and is fast. But it’s not like a recreation drone. Those damn things can fly and turn on a dime.

I have no personal experience but a friend is into that stuff he said Dji phantom pro 2.0 or any phantom 4.
Yeah I was reading up on the DJI

Supposedly they are bringing manufacturing to America because China made drones were found to be hacking into us software and uploading malware

I heard that too from a buddy of mine who’s a sheriff. So my next purchase might be something different.

DJI 100% Just make sure to register the drone with FAA. I thibk its like 5 - 10 bucks. They will assign a number to the drone incase you ever want to call it in and ask the tower for permission to go above the the state feet rule. As I recall I thibk it was 1,000 - 2000. But dont take it 100% but yes DJI phantom line. I have the 4 it has a better cam than previous models and other system perks.

I made the mistake of buying one of those cheap chinese phones about two years ago cant recall name only used it for multimedia at the gym nothing more but after two weeks started getting a gazillion pop-up ads. Did some research everyone having the same issue there was a time delay built into the phone after a certain number of hours of use the malware was released. There were some hacks you could do to suppress them something with the root drive which i had no interest in persuing. I took a ball bean hammer to mine and the ads went away. Fk china garbage.
