Drugs to reduce chronically high chortisol?

So I've recently come to realize that many of my phisical and phycological symtomps are from chronic stress/high chortisol. (random joint/muscle pains, brain fog, bad memory, bad workouts, volatile mood)
I got a few bloodworks trough the years and my chortisol in the morning has always been very high.
There isn't really anything I can do to make my life less stressfull, I have obligations and deadlines and I have to meet them.
I already have a very micronutrient dense diet (fatty fish, organ meats, fruit, eggs, etc.) and take a bunch of supps that are supposed to help (ashwaganda, vitamin D, methylene blue) but I haven't gotten much benefit from them.
My sleep is fine (usually 7 hours on weekdays amd 8-9 on weekends). I walk outside daily and lift 3x week.
I always had the issue of overheating (lost and regained weight multiple times troughout my teens), cutrently just started Tirzepatide to try fix it. Not taking any other drugs at the moment.
You guys know of any drugs/peptides/supplements that can have a significant impact on lowering stress and chortisol?
Ideally not SSRIs or other phychiatric drugs.

I tried general lifestyle changes but they have been ineffective so far. I feel like very mild problems in my everyday life cause me an exessive stress response. Normal inconviniences or small arguments of daily life get me to spiral in my own head.I've always been like this since my teens.

First, what your doctor said?
I don't think a doctor would help with this situation, they would just refer me to a phychiatrist/therapist
I did a lot of therapy in my teens and they even put on SSRIs twice (for a very short time) and it was never helpfull.

I see. If you're not against drugs, you have all of them that may help.

Ketoconazole – An antifungal that lowers cortisol production.
Metyrapone – A steroidogenesis inhibitor that blocks cortisol synthesis.
Osilodrostat (Isturisa) – FDA-approved for Cushing’s disease to reduce cortisol.
Mifepristone (Korlym) – Approved for high cortisol in people with diabetes.
Pasireotide (Signifor) – A somatostatin analog that inhibits ACTH release

And of course, we do have Trenbolone hahaha, that shit is quite effective at reducing cortisol, but it may come with sides.

thank you very much. I will look into these.
I didn't know that tren lowered cortisol. Do you think that running trt (150mg test a week) with a micro dose of tren (like 10mg a week) could be effective at lowering cortisol/improving motivation? as well as providing some anabolism?
As far as I know there aren't any studies on the safety of long term-very low dose tren.
Just speculating, I'm not someone who jumps on random drugs without studying them well frist.

I find in general stress is what we choose to put upon ourselves. When looking at 2 different people one may feel stressed form something and another doesn't. Breathing exercises, mediation and the such has helped many people i know deal with stress. I never go t stressed over my job but i knew many that did. I could only do what i was going to do and nothing more so i didn't fret over it.
Taking a drug to counter act stress will also have effects that will need to be dealt with. And the more drugs the more interactions between them.

I understand but the thing is I don't choose to be stressed over things,I realize that it is pointless and only harming me but I still fell incredibly stressed.
Even when I have downtime and I try to just chill and unwind I can't help it but feel very on-edge and uneasy. Like I'd be trying to relax waching something but in my head I'm thinking of a million different things and can't help it, like I'm in a constant state of fight or flight. It's not paranoia or anxiety, just a general state of uneasyness I feel even if everything is fine and I'm at my house trying to relax

Chilling is actually a learned technique and does not just happen on it's own i find. Learning to slow the brain etc takes time. It starts by learning to do it for 1 second. then with practice the time destressed slowly grows.
How many months have you spent daily doing techniques to destress.

I don't think that you'll have any noticeable effect at 10mg a week, but you can give it a try.

I would personally have dosed it at 5-10mg a day, and not for a too long time.

You don't want to pharmacologically shut down cortisol production, but becoming less of a hyper-secretor could have benefits.

Check out supplements with phosphatidylserine (PS) containing DHA. PS alone has moderate support and PS+DHA may be a little better. Or DHA+krill oil if you can't find one with DHA in the PS molecule.

Ashwaganda/ksm66 and if this doesn't help you can try emodin. Make sure to check cortisol levels in the meantime, you don't want them crashed.

There's plenty of lifestyle tactics that can lower cortisol. Early sunlight exposure, low intensity cardio, breathing exercises, like box breathing, and a consistent evening routine.

Asgwaganda, magnesium glycinate or l-threonate, l-theanine and phosphatidylserine are supplements that all help with cortisol. Fish oil is another.

Acutely, CBD is an anxiolytic that may help. I use it for sleep. I also have a vagus nerve stimulator from Hoolest that helps as well, though I believe that's a few hundred dollars.

Sounds like you've done much of this. CBT could help as would a meditation practice. There are a host of strategies you could try, like writing down the things you're ruminating about, allocating a specific time to "worry". Learn to reframe your concerns and put them aside.

Could simply be an adaptive technique learned at an early age that needs to disrupted.

I can only agree with other members whom advised to rather focus on behavioral therapy.
However since I'm a supplement believer too i would suggest to look into berberine. A family member has high cholesterol and this is what I found could give an interesting natural help.

I also have chronically high cortisol.
On the journey of figuring what caused it I found white papers describing things like - circumcision, infant immunisation, sexual assault, family violence, community violence in adolescence, stressed mother during pregnancy ect all permanently jack cortisol and can lead to inflammatory diseases like psoriasis like I have.

I tried keto diet, which worked with is cons being limitation to diet and the eating windows.
Carnivorous helped a lot. Same trouble with limitation
Meditation, didn't work for me, others have better results.
Gabor, Tolls, Despensa and the whoowhoo crew helped a but but requires constant mindfulness
I found Christ back in 2017, that lowed my stress (cortisol) and symptoms. Sense of community is an amazing thing that has to be experienced to be appreciated.
Not ashamed to admit that I see a councillor once a month and was twice a month for over two years. That helped a lot.

Then I had children and I'm more relaxed seeing them than I have been in my entire life. Loving something more than myself got me out of my own head and I have others to focus on now.

I know the question was about medication... Some things require a more a holistic approach, and thought I'd share my experience.

Oh, and sex 1-2 times a day.. Way more chill.

Best of luck, maybe someone else has a quick fix! I'll check back in to see.
