According to Google light riding horses can weigh between 840lbs and 1210lbs and some draft horses, whatever those are, can weigh up to 2000lbs. Gonna have a neck like a tree trunk at that size.

Cemetery down the road has huge ponds ob the grounds. The ducks and geese are cool.
The swans are stubborn and mean little fuckers though. Let the two youngest dogs out last summer - 115lb GS / 50lb Grey Wolf/Newfie - and one of those fucks was around the back of the house.
Put both the mutts on notice and had 'em running for their lives. Considered letting the other three out...decided against it.
Far as the question goes?
You can actually choke out a horse if you can keep hold. Doesn't take a lot to close a windpipe. A duck is inherently less threatening than a horse - so a horse sized duck I suppose.
Though I'd be more likely to feed it and bring it home.

A lot of farming in the family. Was riding before I learned how to ride a bike.
As far as choking a horse out, a windpipe is a windpipe. I had to put down a doe years ago. Ran into my truck head on and was seizing in the road, smashing her head into the pavement. I don't carry and didn't have anything sharp. So all I could do was try to hold her head flailing and...yeah.
It doesn't take much pressure. :/

Hope you threw in the truck and at least salvaged something, they bust alot bones bouncing off cars, will run alongside and try cut you off. They are so high strung.
