Let's hear the stupidest thing you have seen or heard today. Could be yesterday I don't really care. At the gym, work, at home etc... I will start

My girls brother started lifting so I go to planet fitness with him to help him. Yesterday heard a twig boy telling a chick that the reason he couldn't put muscle on was because he burned 600 cal/hr at rest and that it sucked.

I don't know where to begin lmao... I live in an area not known for its population's intelligence. Stupid shit being said is common and I actually tend to filter it all out around me.

I actually had my boss say that you can't be a "good" person without "god" (he's a Christian, I'm an agnostic atheist, he knows this...) :rolleyes:

Was at chick fila with my kids today. It was lunch time so like always it was fucking slammed!!!! Sitting waiting on my food. This lady and her husband behind me get there food brought to them. She tell the young kid. "I asked for my sandwich to be in a box not bag! I don't want it to sweat" :eek: I was like WTF?? So the 20 seconds it was in the bag from the counter to her table was unacceptable lol ..

So instead of taking it out of the bag a eating it. She sent it back and sat there for another 10 minutes or so waiting for the sandwich to come in a box. Her husband had to walk up there and ask for it and he brought it back then she opened it cut it in half and ate it.

I was baffled. :confused::confused::confused::confused:

I was working with a kid from work. I was calling out measurements to him to cut for me. I called out 23 and 5/8's, he looked at me then the tape measure and said thats five of the little ones right. Keep in mind this guy has been in construction for over five years.
If you think thats bad, im not even gonna tell you what my dumbass did years ago....it involved aluminum, about 100 cuts only to find out I couldnt read a tape measurer as i well as i believed. Ill never forget the look on the foremans face when he took a piece to set....priceless:(

Edit: well i guess i ended up telling you anyway

I worked with a guy years ago that did the same thing... Refused to try to learn how to read one.

I had a kid working for me a few years ago... He was partnered up with a good guy that had been in the field a while. Anyways, he was taking measurements and told the kid he was going to call out some measurements and to help him remember them. Immediately after the guy said this, the kid said, "oh no, you don't want me doing that... I'm not good with numbers."

"What? Just write them down then, it's just a few measurements..."

"No no, you don't want me to do that man, sorry..."

That was his final week on the job.

Thats funny, at least he knew his limits. Lmao. I had to spend awhile giving that kid a tutorial. Then i kept harping on him like '23 and 5/8, thats two little ones past the half inch mark.' He finally got it by the end of the day
