Steroid forums - how things have changed

This thread brings back good memories for me. I got on the forums around 2002, SSB was my go to. Super close knit, almost family-like. If you asked a question about anything (aside from insulin which was taboo), members would go out of there way to help you and answer your questions. Nowadays I find many forums are full of smart-asses and rude pricks with mob mentalities, but there are some diamonds in the rough. There was also less “gate-keeping”, and while every forum has their inner circle (gymace, tighbooty, etc), I find most core circles rejects outsiders (I.e. the Dylan Gemelli cult, etc)

Either way, I’m happy to be back on meso; this is as close as it’s gotten for me since I’ve gotten back in the game.

…and if I really consider it; the shift in online culture is really indicative of the shit in our culture overall as a species… things have really changed in the last 30+ years; not so much for the better. (Damn…. Shit got deep)

As a fellow Y2K era forum guy I definitely agree with this. That said, I think things have gotten better on Meso in this regard over the last year or two, following the demise of a very powerful & influential clique that saw itself as the gatekeepers of the forum & whose belligerent posting style was both encouraged & emulated by many members, particularly those eager to “establish” themselves on Meso.

Personally I try to treat people online in the same way I treat them in real life.

Things changed a lot since 2000's. Some things for the better, but people got lazy. Nobody wants to work hard anymore. It's too easy to get steroids now.
100%
As someone new here, I think the info and discussions still exist, you just have to sort through some BS to find them.
True, we have even more info available nowadays. Skip bs and drama and it's awesome place. It's getting better though.

Never know when ORD 2.0 gets going and it could be cataclysmic. Too many people posting too openly about sourcing and all that.

Tried to net search it and all I could find was Ford 2 liter diesel engine lol. I'm sure you meant something else that might jeopardize sourcing of steroids in the future. As for people posting if we don't post reviews then we don't expose source for it's flaws and all.

ORD = Operation Raw Deal

That's the way I like it.

I might be from a newer gen, but I'm kinda old school. Recently deleted social media, except for fb only to keep in touch with friends and some people. I feel like I cleaned my soul.
Amen brotha! I'm in my early 40's and decided to delete all social media except fb for the same reason as you. I was also kicked off of Twitter back in 2018 despite having close to 50k. This ban was essentially for having the "wrong" political views and being vocal about it. The truth is though, that was the best thing for me at the time. I immediately found much more peace in my life once I stopped using Twitter. Now it's fb only and only for friends n family.
