It is important to read very carefully the material you post.
The second part refers to kids 12-16.
Yes in young people you can do it certainly the brain becomes less elastic after 25.
Also the first part i did not go deeper as its just a reference at people working in places that they have to use they're brain and test better down the line as people who don't.
In that case it could be stoping the decline rather than increasing it from baseline.
For example and i’m just trowing numbers out there,if in 10 years you would decline by 10point and by exercising your brain you stop this or only decline by 2 points compared to people who don't exercise they're brain its a win because its more than you would have not doing it.
Im am referring to increases from baseline tha would bring a 100 iq person to a 120 level i think is impossible.
Se i like to have conversations with people that explain what they think they read in a study in they're own word rather then just post a link here you go this is the proof.
It makes it easier to get to a common ground and to find the faults in my or his thinking.
This is the abstract of the first study you posted

I wrote the first part before even viewing this abstract just based on my logic(IQ).
Hope you don’t take this in a bad way.
You can find a google article to seem like proof for anything actually but diving in it and explaining it in your words you often realize yourself that something does not add up before you post it.
