Steroid forums - how things have changed

@Type-IIx and @GuerillaPete come on, out of all two of you fighting I was the least expecting. Let's move on, it is a joke for those uninitiated and unaware new members. It's a friendly greetings towards each other these gentlemen share.
Struck a nerve. Who would have thought, "Goddamnit bro you are so goddamn stupid" in one thread & carrying it over to another would trigger someone? Mr. Sensitive.

*their. Learn the fucking language before preaching to the boomer choir
Hey man, it's fine to have an opinion and express it. But not all of us were lucky enough to be speaking English as our native/primary language. We do our best, but it's not perfect, we admit.

You know better. I've seen you two beef up in the other thread. It's fine nobody's perfect, let's move on and forget it. You're the Meso scientist. He is a member who's been here for some time. It's all good, I understand, I try to control myself more and more. Unleashing the anger is not always the best solution, sometimes it backfires. I'm sure you know that better than me. Important thing for you is to not feel challanged by someone, they can't provide you evidence they don't win simple as that. You do what you do best and haters, well everyone has them who makes it don't they?

That error of his wasn’t a second language type error. It was an uneducated English speaker type error. Could’ve just been autocorrect but still. No one should be writing like they’re uneducated and giving advice

That's far @marsupial, I'd like to get this thread back on track. I'll just remark that GuerillaPete is kind of a case in point with respect to dipshit kids that have degraded the quality of conversations.

The forums were great 10 years ago. MFW started it all, and I wish I was there for it. I was busy using UseNet for software downloads and the like, and cursing my 56K modem that never actually hit 56K (at best 33K).

YouTube has promoted two problems in our community:
1. Intellectual laziness, coupled with the
2. Constant onslaught of contradictory fitness infotainment

So guys that are seriously plugged into YouTube don't know how to weigh good versus bad information, take it all as equally valid so long as they like the guy that delivers it, and hop on different programs nearly weekly & different protocols about as often.

It used to be that the muscle mags only came out once monthly so you only got confused once a month, now it's multiple times daily.

There is a third more pernicious problem that seems to be occurring,
3. Followers of a particular guru that take their gurus preachings as gospel and bring the battle here, expecting to be greeted with open arms.

I can admit of being guilty in at least one category you named. Over time I've learned that it's not so simple and as you say, you have to weigh in what's right and what's wrong. I believe some of this is also you hear what you want to hear type of thing. Meaning half of what was meant to say might have been ignored.

I'm the type who likes to read more, watching videos or listening to someone talk live just makes me unable to concentrate, I might have issues there though.

10 years ago let alone 15-20, life was so much more simple. I honestly wish we could go back there and not progress so much. Even though I'm not that old, I feel 2000's was the best era. But it's just my opinion.

Finally, I agree there is just too much information now. The world is too visual to really see who is telling the truth. You need fancy shit to get their attention now, cuz let's be honest nothing surprises anyone anymore. Idiots now own this social media shit, I hate it and that's why I quit. I prefer being old school.

Well, perhaps, I too like to correct people in my own language which is admittedly pretty difficult one to master. I just thought you hate us non native speakers, apparently I was wrong. Just letting you know that I try my best to make what I write to at least sound logical and understandable to everyone. Sometimes I fail, it's true. I learned English by watching movies and shows mostly, somewhat in school. Mostly I just remember someone saying something or something written, I have a good memory, so I memorize most of it. That's how I learned English lol.

Quick question in regards to weighing quality information.

When you choose what data you deem reliable, how to do judge it? Double check it with other gurus/coaches/channels? Refer to clinical/scientific studies? Word of mouth/forums?

You have to understand that not everyone has the education to interpret studies and medical research like those with scientific backgrounds or have the mental aptitude to do so.

What most of us did back then is what we still do now. Listen to guys who have track records or the physique to back it up. Which has its flaws but generally works. We couple it with trial and error or find if it is suitable with your lifestyle, genetics and preference.

Good point; I think we talked about this briefly before. It does require either education and expertise, or a faith based reliance on authority.

I'd be happy to share with you in private some of the YouTube channels & videos I've bookmarked but mostly never got around to watching, and some of the Persons of Note in Bodybuilding that I track and read/listen to if you'd find that useful. Just PM me.

And sure, if you already have good bros that you rely on, fantastic, the solid sources tend to remain so. Personally, I'd rather whittle down my sources to about 3 - 5 and really implement what they tell me, rather than suffer from confusion from conflictory information (that by definition must pretty much all be wrong) and fail to progress on key exercises, for example.

The most important fact to remember when filtering out bad information is that so long as you're progressing intensity in whatever form (effort, weight, etc.) over months you are doing it right, and that consistency in key exercises for you are vital. When it comes to drugs, they simply WORK, so even if you do shit ass-backwards, it'll only make some degree of difference but still largely work anyway. Nutrition is basic as in fundamental, but not easy, it's the hardest in terms of discipline and motivation. Energy balance controls, sufficient protein always, etc.

Don’t worry. Like I suggested, it’s generally whether it’s a second language issue or “uneducation”.

That is cool but what happens when an authority figure like @Type-IIx does not interpret the study correctly?
And if his advice becomes gospel even is its wrong and nobody has the courage to call him out?
Even if explained why he is wrong people still think that it must not be so and he will pull out another study and prove the other person stupid.
This is what i think is wrong with the forums and society today.
They blindly trust people they think are in the know and do not fact check them.
And if someone does he is punished for it by being ridiculed.
Even if he said something as stupid as a Tbol cycle only mildly suppresses at 20% based on some german studies that nobody followed trough reading.
This goes against all forum knowledge gathered from the beginning of time.
Some smarted members noticed and commented on this but where silenced with ease by the meso scientist that asked for proof and bloodwork to support this.
A simple google search would have ended this painfully wrong information but NOT ONE MEMBER DID THAT.
Probably thinking Dexter will be correct in the end and they will look like the fool.B24F3FAF-6DCB-43DF-A1FE-B03E038FD853.pngEC435779-4A65-4F71-B024-5AEA4094BDAB.pngFDC0EA38-F3FA-4FE1-A6AC-08337C5C0119.png

This is not about me being right and him being wrong or none of that its about people using they're brain and think and fact checking everyone.
And remember theory only gets you so far its a starting point for experimentation and implementation.
This brings to mind my first interaction with Dexter the scientist when he was writhing a book on Growth Hormone named Bolus.
He was telling us that genotropin based on ingredients does not have a typical smell to
It and that we more than likely have fake stuff or we smell the alcohol from the swiped area of injection.
When in practice if he had ever used a geno pen or one of the many other pharma growth hormones he said he is an expert on he would have known what the smell is like.
I don't even want to get into the stuff about pct where he totally misunderstood the reason for doing it.

So i hope people understand the reason for this and don't take it as a personal attack its just that with great power comes great responsibility.
He is a respected member so what he says is important but more so its important to be correct.
This is the only way we can grow together and lets unite experience with theory and come up with new better ways of doing things.
And for the members i ask to question everything and everyone you are not stupid for doing so.
For the grammar police i hope this hurts your eyes at least a little bit.

Hahaha bro, this is wild. You went back to before I had noticed Genotropin's smell of m-cresol and years later using it again, purchasing it specifically to see if I could smell it, and gasp smelt it, as an instance of being wrong?

I am a human being, I have been wrong before, and will be again, I am sure of it.

This is actually deranged, I know I was being harsh with you, but this is psychotic.

Why would you ever think I can't be wrong? What am I, God?

BTW: The thread Genotropin

A simple google search would have ended this painfully wrong information but NOT ONE MEMBER DID THAT.

I don't know how much you're referring to me, but I don't really care enough about the topic of tbol suppression. I've seen my share of tbol and other "low suppression" oral aas bloods, like var for example, to have my well formed opinion on it.

But you have to understand @Type-IIx 's position here. He is trying to affirm an "objective" empirical stance and forum anecdotes, he said/she said, etc. are generally a particularly fraudulent exercise which usually consists of bad unverified data. Granted, in this instance it came out a tad weird but I still like that he is basically teaching by example as the aas crowd's approach to scientific method is non existent and their look on biology is particularly crude, elemental and full of hubris.

I'm half asleep so forgive my poor semantics.

@GuerillaPete
Of course you have to take into account that everyone makes mistakes and for sure it is even of greater consequence if these forum figures/vets since their posts weigh more than the regular members, thus could be the start of misinformation.

However, that is part of the game, it is up to you as the reader/user to make a critical deduction and find other data to compare it to. Critical thinking goes a long way. We as a community is good at that, hence we always question the common norm and the results are opposite views, protocols, and training/nitrition/drug programs but still end up with close to identical results.

I for one won’t listen to @Type-IIx word right away, no offense, even with my limited knowledge I can absolutely find someone somewhere who has better credentials than him to collaborate or refute his statements. Furthermore, if given a choice, would I listen to a random guy no matter how knowledgeable he sounds from the internet or videos or someone who you know does it for a living and has clients to attest that his methods work? The choice is easy to make.

Anyway, I’m just saying critical thinking should be applied on all, objectively with no biases if you want to minimize being misled.

Its not about being right or being wrong its about theory vs practice.
You ridicule practice when it does not match your theory.
Before doing so you should try or ask others that have.
How many tbol only cycles have you done between 20-40 mg before knowing its mildly suppressive?
Do you know people that have done it personally or over the internet?
I don’t have to look back years i remember everything its how my mind works it questions and remembers everything well almost.
This is in hopes that you understand to mix your theoretical knowledge with the practice you could do great things as people listen to you do experiments mini research as the degradation tests where done for example people would listen to you but you instead ridicule things that don't match your world view.
Anyway this is what i don’t like about forums people not thinking, questioning and experimenting enough.

That's great bro. I really don't understand why this thread turned into a referendum on whether people should "listen to me." I don't fucking hand down decrees on how to do anything. I'm not a guru. I share shit that I think people will find useful or interesting.

Clearly people as of late have been transposing a steaming pile of horseshit onto my posts. For example:

1. My opinions about "good" or "bad" cycles or blasts, the only, positively, singular, fucking drug I ever express an opinion, and I usually am pretty damn clear about it being opinion, about being "bad" is MENT... again, in my opinion.

2. My agenda. That I want people to listen to me. My intent has not nor ever has been, nor ever will be to be a bodybuilding guru. I like to help people, share a lot for free, and the only thing I do in bodybuilding is write & coach guys, and they get a lot out of it.

3. My supposed disdain for empirical (practice) vs. theory. I have written troves of threads and even some articles that not only used bloodwork and reports of doses/compounds, but I continue to eagerly see all of these data and try to use them to predict what's likely to happen or explain why something does happen.

I think it says a tremendous deal about people who project this shit onto me, actually. But I'll take it in stride; you know why?

Because if you just don't like me because I make you feel bad about something, it was due to your tone, never due to your IQ.

Any question that doesn't come in the form of self-aggrandized hostility directed at me with vitriol because I upset your preconceived notion is going to get a thorough and perfectly friendly answer; always has, always will.

And I couldn't care less about any of ya' cuuuuuuunts!

Welp, is my post hostile, it was not meant for you personally. It is just my point of view on how I view forum, youtube and social media personalities big and small.

Anyway, no one gives a shit about anything we post here, in the end of the day its everyone to himself.

Ok i get it maybe i cared to much and others may also notice things they are just not interested enough to make a fuss about it.
I should try that it must feel good less anger more zen.
