E2 & thyroid bloods

Mostly looking for help interpreting the thyroid numbers.

I got bloods done on Tuesday because I had some definite nipple sensitivity and wanted to get an e2 number before starting Asin and Ralox. I'm on 550mg/ week test. Bloods were done right at the end of week 4. I have comprehensive blood planned for next week these were just a quick set.
E2 is 64 and ill be able to see next week what 12.5 Asin every 3.5 days does to that number.

I'm curious about the thyroid results I just got.

TSH in range and a hair higher than pre bloods.
T4- 5.9 middle of the range and .5 higher than pre bloods
T3 uptake was low at 22 (range 24-39) I don't understand what this is even after looking it up
Free thyroxine index - 1.3 (in range but 0.1 above low) no clue what this is.

Any help understanding these thyroid results would be great. All previous results were on 4iu of GH and these current results are on 5iu of gh for a little over a month. I'm currently bulking and do have t3 (not going to use t3 in a bulk at all) and t4 available but not looking to throw drugs at anything just understand these results. I've always heard of the t4 can sometime need to be combined with higher GH use

I forgot to add that these labs were non fasted because I needed to get my e2 checked right away where as the previous results were fasted

It appears what they are calling free t3 index is just what I would call 't3' as it doesn't appear to be another t3 marker and the reference seems reasonable.

First, I would recheck your t3 on next pannel and see if it's low. could be a 1 off.
2nd, your tsh isn't HIGH so even with the lower t3 number, your t4 is normal and whatever your body is getting is keeping it "happy" and from signaling a feedback loop to keep producing tsh.
3rd, Interestingly I kinda have similar t3 issue going on and have seen a GP, Internal medicine specialist, and am supposed to see endo for it (but waiting on that app). i have repeated labs about 4 times with similar results of low t3 and rest in range.

So far, i was told by the IM dr's that if tsh and t4 are in range ( and you have even better levels than I do though) they generally don't "treat" a low t3 and that they wouldn't recommend and meds but the referral as mentioned...
I personally don't like this answer, but I have some t4 and I am going to try taking and get labs. See if issue is truly conversion or something else weird.

NOW there is a reverse t3 which i havent gotten but if your issue persists may also be a good lab to get. Honestly, get it on your next pannel if you can!
Good luck

Looks like your body isnt converting your T4 into sufficient T3, do you have symptoms of hypothyroidism ?
No symptoms of hypo thyroid. I do generally tend to put on fat easily along with muscle. I guess mire if an endomorph but definitely no fatigue or any hypo issues like that.

I did get rechecked the following week and was fasted this time and the numbers came back about the same but the t3 uptake was in range just at the very bottom of normal, free thryorixine index came up from 1.2 to 1.6 and t4 went up by 0.5. I'm going to keep monitoring, get labs again in a few weeks and look into that reverse t3

Hey, guys!
Seem to be confusing total T3, free T3, and T3-uptake.
There's nothing here about T3.
T3 uptake is a measure of T3-binding proteins.
It's not a thyroid issue, but rather a liver issue or a course of steroids.
You should check your free T3 and relax!
You don't appear to have a thyroid problem.
