Hello!
49M here, long term type 2 diabetic who finally brought my diabetes under control with a mix of pharma and major lifestyle change (diet+exercise). I am learning how to expand my healthspan as I navigate this exciting world. I am into lab testing many biomarkers within budget, understanding emerging pharma solutions, glycemic control and deep impact from diet/exercise. Despite being an engineer, I rarely looked at my health data for years. I am now hooked to my CGM, and watch it like a hawk. Eager to learn from you all.

Hell ya brother, tell us a little more about the pharma that worked for you and elaborate a little on that lifestyle change.
How often are you doing this bloodwork? and if you've got a decent price on getting some labs hook me up

This should be the cheapest option in the US anyways

I have been on GLP-1 for almost a decade, but I didn't do any lifestyle modification all this while (basically ate like crap and minimal exercise). My average A1c ran over 8 in this period, and I carried about 30-40lb extra weight (BMI 27-29). Last year late fall, I went to an Endo (should have done a while ago). He put me on Mounjaro (switching from Ozempic). But more importantly, I took a serious up turn on my lifestyle (cut out simple carbs completely, substantial amount of cardio and moderate resistance training). Initially, I was in a fairly low carb diet (not keto level), and I lost 30lbs within 4 months reaching below 22 BMI. My MJ dosage was lowered, but I continued my lifestyle and added more complex carb. I have this far maintained my weight, my average glucose (as per CGM) is 90-95, with time in range of 96% with the range set at 70-125. Hoping to be able to continue this journey.
