I have never been one to gave acne, but since I did my cycle I got acne on my back and need to get it gone asap. Suggestions?

Shower twice daily and hit the tanning bed before we start talking medications. I also use witch hazel after my shower. Get your girl or find some way to apply it. Stuff works great for me.

How long has it been since your cycle? Are you currently on PCT? I know that I don't get much acne at all while on cycle but during PCT I tend to get alot while on Clomid. It will go away soon bro don't worry. Tanning helps if you don't overdo it but I like to use a mild antibacterial soap at least once a day as well. Stay away from accutane it's horrible for you!

GH seemed to help a little, but definitely not enough to be worth using just for this.

I'll be following this thread for sure as I'm getting tired of ruining light colored shirts by bleeding through them every time I scratch off a pimple.......

Use a topical acne scrub and tan. Shower as often as possible. If you didn't have an acne problem before you were on cycle, then it should clear up as you go through PCT.

get one of those water bottles that you water plants with and fill it with one half witch hazel and the other rubbing alcohol and when you get out of the shower spray it on your back. Resist scatching them as you will get scars, they will go away. I would stay away from accutane (if it's still around) as they had some legal problems regarding health issues.

the above suggestions to shower more frequently and spend time in the tanning bed are good ones.

if its not too severe, you can try scrubbing with Dawn dish soap (the harsh kind for *dishes*, not hands... the stuff that will leave your hands cracked and dry if you use it frequently; not the "tough on grease, gentle on hands" kind). my skin gets oily sometimes while "on" and i've found that this type of soap dries me out well enough when i get acne on my triceps and back. just a thought :)

on this note, acutane/isotretinoin used to be easy to find at online research chem companies, but now i can't find it anywhere. anyone know why its doesn't seem to be available anymore? i've never had acne bad enough to need it but a few friends have experienced amazing results from it.

Look bro I have tried most all solutions and here are the ones that I think work.

So you want it gone fast and you want a solution that is strong and also cheap?
Try DOXYCYCLINE (dox i SYE kleen) - Antibiotic from the doc depending on what country you live in. Works fast if you really just don't want to mess around and you want to kill the acne at the source.

Once you have tried everything and the acne is still bad and you want to drop the hammer on it for good..
Try ACCUTANE - Will need a dermatologist and it takes 5 to 6 months with blood work every month. Plus it is very expensive so hope you have medical else you will be spending thousands every month. It is hell to go through this but after you don't get any acne and life is great.

Really the only thing you can do other than that is try to dry your skin out and keep it clean via some ot the products mentioned above (most of which use alcohol to dry out the oilly skin).

RetinA can help if you just want to use a cream, but it is not as fast and you will not be able to be in the sun. In fact, none of the afforementioned solutions allow you to go in the sun. The easiest for sun exposure would be the DOXY. Also the shortest recovery time (4 to 8 weeks).

Tanning helps. The witch hazel will def help. you can also take soak in Epson salt baths. That helped me. Honestly i think the witch hazel would be best if you can get someone to help you out with your back.

Acne takes 3 to 4 weeks to develop. So it may take a while for it to subside. That's what my dermatologist told me anyways. Never mentioned AAS usage, lol

But yeah i'm on doxycycline now as a matter of fact. works well for me

My GF took Accutane in high school and it destroyed her ability to poop normally.

To this day (20 years later), she poops about 6-8 times a day. It's like water. It's really not awesome. Be warned...

Accutane is wicked. If you have steroid induced acne, and not "chronic acne", then don't go near Accutane.

I knew a girl who used it - but she had severe acne. It made her face completely peel and she looked like something out of a horror movie. But, when all was done, she looked great. She had chronic acne for years and Accutane was a last resort and under physician care. She had mood swings and all kinds of different sides while on it, too.

Bottom line - don't use Accutane for steroid induced acne. Get some sun on your back and wade around in a swimming pool to clean out your pores. :D

I just read that vit. B5 and zinc helps clear up acne, but that's all this article says so maybe look into that by a google. They don't give dose or any references to back it up.
