eating before bed myth or ok?

hey guys im always hungry b4 bed and i always seem to get that thought in my mind that eating before bed turns into fat
what are ur thoughts on that or suggestions when trying to run a semi-healthy diet for lifting

if your a hard gainer and looking to gain - i say yes yes yes eat before bed i did this years ago when i was younger and i did it every night i could when i went from 120 to 180 naturally in 2 years

i firmly believe if your trying to gain mass and weight to eat before bed then take a protein shake so it will repair your muscles while you sleep - zma is also very good before bedtime and will help you sleep much deeper

but if your trying to lose fat dont eat before bed
 
You should always consume protien before bed. Best would be a casein protien shake or some cottage cheese. You need the slower digesting protien in your body so you don't become catabolic during sleep. I try not to eat many carbs within 2 hours of bed but I'm against going to bed on an empty stomach even when I'm cuttting. Besides you'll feel much better when you wake up which will give you more energy to burn more fat.

If you are trying to gain weight then yes eat like a horse no matter when it is. LOL.

While you're sleeping. So consuming a source of casein protein is highly advisable if you want to get the most out of your effort.

Cottage cheese or low fat yoghurt with honey are excellent choices.
