EGGS! How many do you eat?

Walmart sells 60 eggs for $2.97. And I don't have to shovel up chicken shit or worry about their large talons.

No doubt. But... Have you ever had fresh eggs? They're amazing. Good enough that I actually considered getting a few chickens. Then I remembered I'm too lazy and the chickens would die from neglect... Or my pup would massacre them for fun.

If you ever get the chance to try fresh eggs, give it a try. I've bought them from three different people over the years and they were all great however, I think it may be something to do with the feed they give them that makes them taste so good so maybe they're not all as good as what I've had. First time I had them I realized that commercial eggs were shit.

My girl's aunt has about 24 chickens right now and we tried the eggs this weekend. Amazing eggs. They give them some organic feed now but before they bought that, the chickens were eating quinoa lol

It really depends on where I'm at with my diet. Most of the time I'll eat 4 whole eggs for breakfast. On a bulk I'll actually only eat or drink egg whites so I can meet my fats through chicken and beef. If I have to many whole eggs I have to buy lean beef and that more $$$ so to be cost effective I stick to beef and chicken for my fat.
Egg whites and sugar free hurshy syrup is the BEST protein shake ever!

Confession: I've never thrown a yolk away or ate just an egg "white" in any form. Seems so counterintuitive to me.

To answer the thread topic, a minimum of 3-4 about everyday, with breakfast. I may have a day here and there where I have no eggs. Some days I eat a whole dozen throughout the day. Just depends what else I'm eating.
If there's ever any opportunity to add egg(s) to other food, I always go for it.

I also prefer the homegrown variety. Lot of friends and family raise chickens.

They're best scrambled, IMO. Very buttery taste... So naturally I add more butter. :)

I brew beer as a hobby from time to time. A few years ago I brewed a batch of beer and when you're finished with a batch of beer you have leftover spent grain... You can make a few things with it, I gave it to a girl I knew that had chickens. She said those chickens ate that shit up like candy lol.

Everybody knows, drunk chickens lay the best eggs!

Oh and to the point of farm fresh eggs... hands down the best. I vacationed in Austin, tx once and this little hipster place had a full on herb garden and chickens for fresh eggs every day. They were so damn good. Expensive, but damn good. Sunny side up with my toast drenched in fresh yolk.

Excuse my hard on boys. It's.... it's the test...

I eat at least 6 eggs a day, usually that is part of everydays breakfast. I alter the yolks to calorie and macro count for my goals at the time. I try to eat a fe hard boiled later also. I love eggs great source of cheap protein. I buy them local for 125 a dozen, and yes they taste better then walmart eggs, so worth the cost

6 fresh egg whites for breakfast and usually 1 cup egg whites from a carton, blended in with a protein shake in the afternoon or before bed.

Around my parts Craigslist is flooded with free range eggs ranging from $1 to $2.50 a dozen.

What the chickens feed on definitely has an impact on taste appearance and most importantly nutrition...look for chickens raised on flaxseed if possible

Damn I didn't even think of Craigslist thank man!

When Im bulk or trying to gain weight 6 per day,two intakes, when Im dieting usually 4,but currently 3.

12 hard-boiled a day. Depending on what else I eat that day I'll either have six with the yolk or all whites. On cycle I aim for 3000 calories off cycle 2300.
