Telemedicine providers in one country can often issue prescriptions for patients in other countries (mainly private prescriptions), but whether the pharmacy in the other country accepts the prescription is often uncertain and varies from pharmacy to pharmacy.

Some countries only accept private prescriptions from foreign doctors to a limited extent.

For Switzerland and Austria, I already know that it works.

Other countries would need to contact support; in case of problems, you can get a refund. Payment is made via PayPal.

If I live near Germany but not in Germany could I go to a German pharmacy to fill my prescription?

I contacted the support team and asked them to answer the most important questions. I hope these questions and answers are helpful to you.

Testosterone Therapy via Doctrinus – Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Is a testosterone deficiency strictly required?

No. Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) can also be prescribed even if your levels are above the reference range – up to a maximum free testosterone value of 50 pg/ml.

2. Is it a problem if I’m already on TRT?
No – quite the opposite. An existing TRT is taken into account and can be optimized if needed.

3. What is your target range for free testosterone?
30–50 pg/ml – which is approximately 70% above the typical reference range.

4. What dosage is needed to reach this target value?
This varies from person to person. The weekly dose is usually between 100 and 250 mg.

5. How long does a prescription last?
Typically around three months.

6. What happens after the three months?
You’ll need to complete another questionnaire and submit an up-to-date testosterone level. The dosage can be adjusted and a new prescription issued.

7. Do I have to provide my testosterone level every three months?
No. Only for the first and second requests is a recent test result required. From the third request onwards, one test every 6–12 months is sufficient – depending on your symptoms.

8. Can I measure my testosterone level at a lab or with a home test kit?
Yes, as long as it’s a blood test. Saliva tests are not accepted.

9. What should I keep in mind when having my blood drawn?
Do not take testosterone for at least three days prior to the test to avoid skewed results.

10. Which testosterone value is required?
Both free and total testosterone values are accepted. If possible, the free testosterone value should be measured.

11. How much does the testosterone cost for three months?
Approximately €70 – or about €23 per month. Example: Eifelfango 10 x 1 ml (250 mg).

12. Can I choose the form of administration and the manufacturer?
Yes. Both testosterone gel and injections are possible. You can choose any product from any manufacturer using the prescription.

13. What are the total costs?
Just the prescription fee of €39 (or €37.05 with code LEGAL) and about €70 for the three-month testosterone supply.

14. What if I don’t live in Germany?
We can still issue you the prescription – you’ll just need to come to Germany in person to fill it at a German pharmacy.

So basically €109 for 3 boxes of Eifelfango?

So basically €109 for 3 boxes of Eifelfango?
€37.05 for the prescription and around €70 for 10 ampoules of 250 mg/ml testosterone – for example, Eifelfango or Galen. Both are similarly priced.

So in total, it’s €107.05 for 2,500 mg of testosterone from a German pharmacy, including a legal TRT prescription – ideal for traveling or official use.

In my opinion, this is one of the safest, most reliable, and most affordable options for testosterone injections in Germany and neighboring countries.

How long 2,500 mg lasts depends on your personal dosage.

Eh, not really worth it unless you're desperate for pharma test. UG's rarely bother faking testosterone, the raws are so cheap, it'd cost them more to scam you.

Also, why is it 70€ for 10 amps when it’s 7€ at the pharmacy with a prescription?

Its a Private prescription so you pay 100%, the other option is when the insurance covers it so you pay a minimum fee of 10% of its price.

To get it covered through the insurance you will need to undergo a longer and more complicated process, insurance wants to see more testing and make sure you really need it

You have to select “private prescription,” then it costs €70 — the provider doesn’t make any profit from the medication itself, only from the prescription fee.
