Experience with TRT docs?

TRT clinic was straightforward. Doc told me "I don't work with bodybuilders. I work with retired bodybuilders who need test and want to monitor their health"
My levels were at 450 but he knew i was taking test U so it would be a while before i actually bottomed out and got me on 200mg a week.

I just got the script to have for travel and just in case i got drug tested, and told the doctor I was gonna keep bodybuilding but i'd use him for bloodwork. (waited a few months so it didn't seem suspicious)
He said that's fine he just won't prescribe test as long as i'm using other stuff but they'll be happy to keep working with me.

Expensive though. Averages out to like $200 a month for bloodwork and TRT levels of test.

Started at a University hospital years ago while seeing a urologist there. Seems they are quicker to prescribe T then an Endo is. The endo said that men didn't need to worry about E2, but that was long ago so i never went back to him. Then went to Dr Crisler (for you that remember him) for a few years. Then settled with the Dr i have been seeing for years now. He is fairly knowledgeable but so were rest for what the times were. I don't expect Dr.'s to be cutting edge as that is not what they usually do. They are years behind the most recent data. They have medical licenses to protect and malpractice insurance they try not to use.
Correct. This 100% Standard of care protocol limits what they can and can't ignore regarding blood values. Its insane to think that they're willing to pull your script if your hct is 50 or lower dose to abysmal levels god forbid your total test is 1000ng/dl. Nevermind that you lost 15lbs, feel amazing, stiff dick, and great labs overall lol

Some of that is personal preference though depending on the Dr.'s comfort zone and what they may think is the healthiest place to be. I have had my T levels come back over the top and the Dr .s didn't blink an eye. Now if the 'Dr has a lot of patients way over the top then the FDA may have an issue with the Dr. at that point. But many that go through clinics though have their T levels over the top regularly. Early on i figured out how to keep my blood levels well within an acceptable range.

Anybody here have a good experience with a HRT clinic or TRT doctor?

I tried one of the large clinics near me and it was a horrible experience. Doc knew nothing and was just there to collect a paycheck...makes you wonder how hard it is to get an MD from XYZ University of some Caribbean country...

I've hear some guys can find a doc who will put them on TRT+, but that was years ago now.

I'm reluctant these days to order via mail...family...job...and my location makes me leery of the postal inspector.

I went the local clinic route, they didn't care about anything except injecting as many ppl a day as possible.
I switched to trt nation and have had a better experience, and it is a fraction of the price.

How often do they want labs?

Where do they like to see your testosterone number? Do you have any input into that decision?

Having lived in 4 different states since I started TRT, with different docs/clinics every time, my experience is that your personal GP or endo is 10x better than online/antiaging clinics. Moreso if you have health insurance. (if you're not doing the DIY route, but I still think it's better to have a legit script anyway)

GP and Endo requires me to test below 200 two consecutive times in order to be prescribed 100mg Test a week, no thank you.

Labs are every 6 months, I order labs through them every 3 months since I like to stay on top of my blood work.

They started me @200mg/week Test-C, along with 100mg/week Nandralone.
The Dr said as long as my numbers are below 1300 I can go up, so I am now on 250mg/week Test-C.
They are a lot more user friendly and transparent then Trancsend
