Experience with TRT docs?

Anybody here have a good experience with a HRT clinic or TRT doctor?

I tried one of the large clinics near me and it was a horrible experience. Doc knew nothing and was just there to collect a paycheck...makes you wonder how hard it is to get an MD from XYZ University of some Caribbean country...

I've hear some guys can find a doc who will put them on TRT+, but that was years ago now.

I'm reluctant these days to order via mail...family...job...and my location makes me leery of the postal inspector.

I was with a TRT clinic for about 3 months before I could get in to see a urologist. I explained the benefits I got with TRT and they agreed to manage my prescription. It is nice to go through a local pharmacy and be covered under insurance.

As long as you know you will get basic TRT, they are great. They are expensive AF but if you want or need a legit prescription they are worth it.
Had a buddy one time who gave me the card of his doc that was prescribing him Test and Decca. But I lost the damn card. I feel kinda weird hitting him up for that but oh well. I'll report back.

You wabt a sports endo, theres many that specialize in trt.
Ive never had good experiences with nurses etc. only my endo has been good so i always go back to him.
They aren’t that expensive in the grand scheme of things, if you want a prescription. Iirc im around 600 yearly including test cost from pharmacy and blood work through him (he gets a discount)

I cant remember if nurse was the correct term… whatever their called when their not a doctor but right under. Fucking useless tbh, think they know beyyrr than you when yoyve been doing it 10yrs like srsly fuck off, prescribe me and let me do my thing because I 100% know more than your fucking dumbass
I hate doctors, etc the lot. So painful. So useless.

Thanks bro. If I shrink my ballz to peanut size by blasting test and then go in for a script do you know if insurance will cover it?

I would steer clear of many of the Wellness or rejuvenation clinics as they are solely interested in your $ not your well being IMHO. The one shining star amongst them is Grant Horomone and Wellness. It’s run by Dr.Jordan Grant and wife who’s also a urologist. He’s a lifter and on TRT himself. He posts a ton on the TRT group on FB. Wealth of knowledge and passionate about TRT and all the benefits it provides. I think for the consult and 1x a year you’ve gotta make the trip to TX. Lot of respect for that guy and the works he’s done to educate others on TRT misinformation and benefits.

I myself went the traditional route via my PCP and then to a urologist to regain fertility. Once my son was baking in the oven he transitioned me off the clomid and HCG to TRT. Best decision I made medically. Test costs me 10.72 USD for a months worth at 150mg/week. Labs 2x a year and an office visit 1x a year. All covered by insurance. So my total cost is 30 for the specialist co-pay and roughly 150 for the year supply of Test!,

Started at a University hospital years ago while seeing a urologist there. Seems they are quicker to prescribe T then an Endo is. The endo said that men didn't need to worry about E2, but that was long ago so i never went back to him. Then went to Dr Crisler (for you that remember him) for a few years. Then settled with the Dr i have been seeing for years now. He is fairly knowledgeable but so were rest for what the times were. I don't expect Dr.'s to be cutting edge as that is not what they usually do. They are years behind the most recent data. They have medical licenses to protect and malpractice insurance they try not to use.

Televideo available if you are a Tx resident, but in person required if you live in the other 49 states

Is this some weird regulation or something?

Oddly, their web site does not even have an address or what city in Texas, which is a big state.

Saya at Defy Medical. Will allow you to learn and reasonably cautious. Sharp dude.

Has this been the experience of others here? If the doctor is out of state, do you have to go there in person?

Some clinics require as a policy, some don't. Two well known clinics in FL, one requires yearly in person visits. One does not and providing a physical exam form is all that's required.

Indeed, I wasn’t aware before I posted that they’re not even excepting new patients at this time either. Dr.Grant makes some great content on YouTube and also on the TRT Facebook group that’s why I recommended his practice as he lives and breathes TRT.
