Extraction needle

Vial adapters were a game changer for me. You can get them for like $1.60 a piece and they last through the whole vial. No need for extraction needles and takes about 10 seconds to load up 1 ml.

The luer lock syringe screws right to it

Luer lock vs no dead space.

Did I understand right that you can draw multiple compounds in one syringe and inject them all at once in the same injection spot? Like for example test,eq and a dht derivative all at once?

That's correct. In fact one of the main suggestions people give for dealing with oils that cause a ton of PIP is to mix it with another oil to dilute it. Whether thats another oil you're already using or something like grapeseed oil which doesn't have any other AAS's in it. I'm currently mixing sust, deca and primo in 1 pin. I use Luer Lock style. So i use a larger gauge to draw all the oils up then switch to a smaller gauge in varying lengths depending on where i'm doing the injection that day.

It seems kind of silly to have to do multiple different injections in a row because you're using more than one compound.

Yup guys are doing it the hard way using draw needles. Google McKesson Clave vial adapters.

Do these do a better job getting that last bit of oil out compared to draw needles? Do you wipe down the connection with an alcohol pad before attaching you're clean barrel? Or is there some other way to sterilize it before use?

The vial adapters do a fairly good job of getting all the oil out. Maybe 1 drop gets left behind.
Yes, I wipe the connection both before and after drawing my dose.

See my post above. The adapter can't address the dead volume left over in a luer lock setup.7b0d72e2e53fa50fa2823e77e0df7cc6f9bc1c57.png

I think coring is a bigger issue than losing a tiny bit of gear using luer lock. Coring is a health risk....losing a tiny bit of gear is a money problem.
Everyone has to determine their own risk level. For me, coring was a bigger deal as I had thrown out several partially used vials before because of coring.

I have never experienced it with insulin pins that are beveled to minimize that but I am also not putting my vials under a microscope. Good point on the individual risk level.

Another case for extremely sharp, small OD/ID insulin pin needles and only loading once with each pin.

Load with 27 or 29 gauge insulin pin. Don't load from multiple vials with same needle.
One pin per vial.

I’ve reused my draw syringe/needle for about 4 months now so. Before that was like 5 months. Been doing it for years. Never a single issue
I don’t pin out of it though so no blood ever comes in contact, i backfill 29g slin pins
And what's the motivation there? Just like being a riverboat gambler? Or you only draw and fill every 4 months. Where do you store yout draw syringe/needle in between use? Procedure?

No. Buy some insulin pins and inject with same needle you draw with. Dirt cheap. No residual gear lost.

Learn proper aseptic technique. Wipe everything with alcohol prep pads.
I have a hell of a time drawing oil with a slin pin even mct.

I've thought about back loading but kinda seems sketch and kind of a pain.

Run the vial under warm water for a minute or 2 first. Or get a small heating pad and wrap it in that on low for a few minutes.

Interesting info re:coring
Been pinning for years and never realized the risk associated with repeated insertion into the vial
