what is the optimum time for cardio to get in to the fat burning phase? not as in time of day, but in how long? also my treadmill's calorie meter ( may or maynot be accurate) says i am burning more by walking at 3.5 mph at 7.5 % incline than by running at 0% incline at 6.2 mph. does this make sense? running gets my heart rate going faster but is killing my knees. i weigh 250. could be why! thanks in advance guys.
