Favorite snack while cutting or bulking an why

So after reading through @Scruf 's cutting cycle ( big props btw bro...) Curiousity struck me and I wondered what everyone's goto snack is while they're cutting? I figured why not talk about your favorite bulking snack to so we can see what everyone's goto's are while they're on track to cut or bulk up!

I'll start us off with with my late night snack while cutting. Pickles. I fucking love em. I can eat a bunch of em an not feel the slightest bit of guilt. Plus there's a ton of variations and different ways you can make em at home so you can change em up to be spicy or whatever, depending on the mood you may be in.

For bulking it's definitely chicken thighs with some Cajun seasoning salts.

Thanks @Kangaroo_Jack3D! My go to snack for cutting is salsa or gazpacho. Pickles are also great. When bulking it is probably rice, we have a rice cooker full of brown rice at all times. Honestly, I haven’t bulked, intentionally, for a long time. Cheers!

Had to Google what gazpacho Is. That looks amazing man I'm gonna have to give it a shot here soon!
 
Bulking :

peanut butter+honey+oatmeal (microwaving)
dark chocolate 90%+honey+oatmeal (microwaving)


Cutting:

Protein pudding (casein+water or milk+sucralose, put in fridge 1hour or put in freezer)

Skyr with some wild blueberries + a pinch of sucralose
 
Snack on a bulking would be
2-3 scoops quality gainer 750-1L lactose free milk , plus something dirty like a chocolate that I love or something along those lines PB sandwich
Snack on a cut would be
500ml egg whites 1LT Dark Chocolate Sugar Free Almond Milk that’s it and some scoops of ice cream here and there
 
Rye chips with garlic or chilli.

I got one of those Ninja creami ice cream machines that can make pretty good deserts of whatever you put into it. Even protein powder and low fat milk. You get thick ice cream like consistency too. But I'm too lazy to prep the tubs as they need to be frozen for a day or too before you can use it.
 
Peanut butter spread on apple cinnamon rice cakes with a couple pieces of turkey bacon and topped with sliced bananas and a dab of cinnamon; maybe even a drizzle of local honey to top it off. I know peanut butter and turkey bacon sounds nasty, but that shit is fire. It's a nice little min-meal that gives me a little bit of everything when I'm trying to put on some weight.

Oh damn I don’t even know where to start, first of all if you can find it eat bison meat (be it while bulking or cutting, I love that stuff), same goes for gator, elk, fkin any type of animal that is badass usually it tastes good n is good for you (don’t risk eating bears though due to all them damn parasites they have), I would love to try kangaroo apparently it’s real good ahah.

Anyways bulking I’d say ben n jerrys ice cream as you can pound a whole pint in like 5min n it’s delicious, for good fats n protein I eat lots of nuts that’s good on both bulks n cuts, I tend to get super hungry after I smoke post dinner so I will often eat a fkload of trash food like chips n peanut butter cups etc… in bed but yeah I always do that after I already ate my main macros for the day and I eat my main meals relatively clean every day.

This is ofc not the way to go if you’re trying to diet down to a really low bf % but I have the advantage of having a good metabolism so even not doing much of any cardio (apart from sex n walking everywhere ahah) I don’t really gain much fat just muscle n water :P

I do think though that diet is paramount to this type of endeavour of ours so I want to dial it in a good amount for this summer as I know I look a lot better when I’m leaner n I want to compete next year so I gotta train myself in the art of the proper bbing diet (I’m currently around 12/15% bf rn, idk precisely but I have striated delts n quads n abs ofc but abs I’ve always had em showing even though I rarely do any direct ab work, heavy squats n dls are more than enough usually). Also since I plan on blasting now I want to avoid doing shitty stuff for my health so that’s another reason I will change my IIFYM diet to a better style one as I can look good eating anything but I know inside it probably isn’t as easy ahah

This. Peanut butter is a fkin staple imo it should be an essential for anyone who ain’t got a nut allergy

I’m out in the gym lifting and I just read the words peanut butter in your reply and automatically got hungry. My daughter has a peanut allergy. I feel for her. She pretty close to growing out of it and is going to start being exposed to peanuts under dr supervision. I’ll be very happy for her.
 
Bulk:
TG Lee 2% milk (best stuff on the planet)
Sharp cheddar cheese
Almonds/pistachios

Cut:
Pepperoncini peppers (the kind that they use in Greek salads). They're absolutely delicious.

I might need to try the spicy pickles idea after reading this thread though

Some times I'll add a big splash of liquid egg whites and scoop of chocolate milk poweder.

I can get 50g protien in quick and it sits in my stomach much than protien powders
 
Snacks is a bullshit concept made up by companies to sell you convenient bullshit, eat your meals and make gains.

Yep thats what I drink. BTW - why dont more bodybuilders eat non-fat greek yogurt? Seems like it would be a staple. Is it just the small amount of lactose?
