Hi all! I’m here because I need info. Please be kind and understand there is not enough info out there for women so yes I’ll be asking some stupid questions for some of you! But I’m here to learn.

My goal? I’m Female wanting to increase muscle and body recomp. I’m close to 40 so I don’t want to look old and want to build muscle and lose some body fat.

Hello. I wish I had something to offer you other than a 'welcome'. My wife is in a similar situation as you and I curious what other with experience might say so I'm watching as well. Best wishes.

Welcome! One of the best things you can do to start is get blood work done and check the following values:

Free testosterone
Total testosterone
Progesterone
Estrodial

Optimizing these hormones can make a world of difference with the goals you listed.

Checking these first instead of just taking some anavar would be the correct and smart way to do it

Welcome. There are no stupid questions only stupid answers. Watch out for stupid answers.

I've never looked into it, but there is a women's forum .

Good luck. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Welcome! This world is kind of "bro land" but there are men and women around who are quite knowledgeable on female aas use. I'm not one of them.

Just put safety first and don't jump into the deep end until you have a solid understanding of what you're getting into and possible unwanted effects.

I wish you luck on your goals!

As a women you don't need so much... For a little bit of muscle and to loose fat you don't need aas...

Welcome. I'm really glad to see you on MESO.

I agree that there is a serious lack of information for women who are using or considering the use of AAS/PEDs.

We've been working toward providing more information for women in your predicament. For example, we've published numerous articles specifically geared toward women AAS users.

Plus, we've added subforums for female members to share their experiences using AAS. The subforums include a women's-only section and also a section where all members are free to help.

I hope these MESO resources will give you a good start in your research!
