Ok...another update.
Training was going well. Not really getting a lot of strength gains or size but my fat has been dropping consistently. I don't think I've been getting in enough calories to really afford size gains. Most days I've been hitting around 3100 cals.
Anyway......I hit a roadblock with an injury in my shoulder. I'm thinking it COULD be my rotator cuff as it hurts when doing an L-Fly type movement but I can still bench and curl.
Being that my excersizes are VERY limited right now, I'm going to work on my deadlifts (which have always been weak for me) and continue with Bench, Curls, and light work on shoulders and lats when possible. I'm able to do pretty light and high reps on my shoulders so I'll continue that.
Added in ECA today and will modify this to a cut for the time being. Prior to this problem, I've been having issues with the muscles inside my shoulders cramping during almost every workout so this could be a strain. I've booked a session with a Registered Massage Therapist tomorrow and see what comes of it.
If I can rehab this fairly quickly, I'll go back on bulk mode for the remainder of my cycle, if not I'll ride out the rest of it on a cut and work what I can with added cardio. I don't want to just drop it at 7 weeks in as that feels like it would be a major waste of money. I think a cut with ECA and Test will bring me out in pretty good condition. One of my goals was to lean up a little....if this has to be the case then I plan to lean out a LOT.
Not ideal for my first cycle but what can you do right?
