First Deca cycle help please

Did my first cycle of test currently cruising on 100mg. I definitely made gains but I wouldn't say I'm a hyper responder by any means. Wanna try DECA because the bros say it helps put on size. Can anyone help me figure out the dosage, test/Deca ratios and so on?...
I'm 5'8" about 165lbs lean
(Got some masteron because I was told it helps control estrogen)
 
Tell us a bit more about your first cycle. I would say that at 165lbs you could do a couple more test-only cycles with great success, before moving on to nandrolone.

Masteron does not control estrogen, but what it does is mitigate some of the estrogen side effects.

Nandrolone works differently for people. Some like high test / low nandrolone, some like low test / high nandrolone. I'm sure some will give their opinions here. All of them are probably valid. For me, I like 5/3 ratio test/nand. 500 test / 300 deca for example.

Also, you may want to consider using NPP instead for your first nandrolone cycle, as it's easier to pull out and abort if you start getting glitchy in the head, sleeping all day, obsessing about your partner's sexual history, going thru your wife's phone, having nightmares about cuckolding, anhedonia, etc.
 
I’m not going to say you shouldn’t add deca, or that you aren’t ready, whatever that means. It’s very mild for sides for most people. Instead I’d caution you not to unless you’re fairly committed. You’ll be shut down a good hot minute after you’re done.
 
First cycle was 16 weeks test only 300mg worked up to 500 about halfway through. Started around 158 ended up around 165 and a bit leaner. I don't think I had any side effects besides a little bit of acne on my chest but it's mostly gone since I went down to a cruise. I'm just tired of being skinny.

Then I would say store the deca away for a year or two, run another couple of 500mg test cycles and eat/train/sleep as hard as you can - throw on at least another 20lbs and then bust out the deca. I'm not saying deca wont work now, but it's pretty overkill for what you need at this point - you'll grow really well on test only with good feeding and training.

Im just starting to feel normal again 4 weeks after stopping. Deca obviously affects everybody differently but as Borkies said above, going the NPP route is probably the better move as you can stop if you get negative sides and it'll get out of your system much faster

Man I've run a lot of deca over the years, but this last cycle... 20 weeks with deca stacked in and the last 10 weeks of it were hell on earth. I've always been a little "off" with nandrolone but its usually tolerable. This time was bad. Gloomy, no enjoyment from anything, nightmares, sleeping 10-ish hours per day, emotionally dead other than anxiety. I don't think I smiled or laughed once for several weeks.

I think a lot of other factors play into this and I don't think anyone completely understands brain chemistry yet but there's definitely something there with nandrolone. I think I might have been depressed anyway, but this just amplifies it. I'm glad to have it clearing out of my system and the clouds are just beginning to clear up.

Sounds like things are clearing up for you too. I hope things get better for you and the deca ride comes to a clean finish.

I added more lean weight using only Anavar 40mg a day are you sure your diet and training were both upto scratch?

If so my friend, then I'd be questioning the gear was it from an approved vendor?
At your current size once bumped to 500mg you should have started to add significant weight and bloat..

I would make sure to get yourself some legit gear.. Lay out a new 16 week cycle plan, training plan and diet, anything fairly standard will work.. Make sure your getting enough calories and go for it again.. Start at 400mg Test and up it once you hit 170lbs..

Sounds like your symptoms were very similar to mine, I didn't experience any joy in things I normally would have, my sports team winning, hanging out with friends, making profit on a stock trade, etc. I've never felt that way before. Yeah it's strange. Next time you run nandrolone you might be fine. Or you might be worse. It's kind of a gamble it seems like, with a lot of factors needing to combine to make it happen. What those factors are I have no idea, but one of them is definitely nandrolone. Hopefully if you try it again it goes better for you, cause damn - nothing puts on size like nandrolone, and the joint pain relief is great.
 
We all find out over the course of years using, what suits us and what doesn't. Me personally, I can't even look at a vial of nandrolone. Instant ED, instant depression. But it doesn't matter because I can use other things that suit me, that others often can't. It's all person dependant, and you're so early on in the journey.

All I'll say is this: if it turns out a compound doesn't work for you, just sack it off. It doesn't matter in the grand scheme and it's not like you'll never become big as a result. You find what's tolerable, and run it at moderate doses for moderate time frames. But don't jump in trying everything at once.

Agree with the eating piece and cycle length particularly since he ramped up half way though.

Very important caveat… the …. right…. food.

Op. Make sure your protein (not plant proteins) is at 1g-1.25g/lb body weight. Don’t _overtrain_. Milk, egg, animal protein.

Well said, you hit it perfectly. Especially the short cycles with Deca. There's absolutely no point.
 
I'm going to do 600 test 400 npp for my second cycle just because that's what Levrone did lol. Also gonna add in some masteron but I'm trying to figure out what dose I should do for that, currently thinking somewhere 200-400, but I don't think I really need that much for it's effects. I was able to fuckin explode on my first test cycle but I don't really believe using npp is going to be detrimental to my long term success building muscle. Just fucking eat and train like this means something, what's the point of doing any of this if you're just gonna eat and train like a wuss?
