First DNP Cycle (30 Days) - Need Clarification on Body Composition

I'm on my 11th day of a 30 day DNP cycle. I've broken it down like this:

Days 1 - 4: 200mg
Days 5 - 8: 300mg
Days 9-12: 400 mg
Days 13-30: 400mg, but possibly 600mg if I feel up to it.

I started at 165 lbs. and I'm just a pound or two below that after 11 days.

My problem is telling if I'm really losing fat. The first 4 or 5 days I definitely gained a bunch of water weight. It may have been too many carbs. Cuz honestly I didn't keep too much track of what I was eating but it wasn't that bad. (I don't really eat added sugar and I'm usually low carb.) Nonetheless, the last 6 days I have counted calories religiously and made sure to workout or jog at least 4 times during the week. So I know I have a deficit.

My question is, besides the scale, how can I tell if I'm losing body fat or not? Should there be obvious changes in body composition? Do I need to wait till the very end of my cycle to see any results?

Please help a bewildered brother out.
 
DNP is a tricky beast. The changes are truly seen AFTER you stop DNP. For me it kept changing for 2 weeks after my last dose and for a girl I worked with was the same. So I think patience is key.

Keep your diet clean, training and cardio going daily and you will notice changes. DNP isn't a drug you sit on your butt and wait for magic to happen.
 
Dude you weigh 165 pounds. What are you trying to diet away, skin and bone?

How many calories are you on? Low sodium? What is your height? BF?

If you carry somewhere between 8 and 12 pounds extra water weight right now, this hasn't been too much of a failure, but with 165 pounds on the scale, it doesn't sound you have much fat to drive down to start with.

Telling the difference between bloat and fat comes with experience (and calipers). Water is more squishy and has a different texture than full fat cells.

I'm 5' 11" but I have a small frame and not a lot of muscle. Body fat is roughly 15 or 16%. I want to get down to 11 or 12%.

I aim for 1800 cals a day. Sometimes it's over but never more than 400 past that. For sodium I don't really track it. I know it's not low though.

Eat food and deadlift brother.
I'd get my lifts up and my calories up before experimenting with these compounds
 
Mate, let's do the math here. You weigh 165 pounds with a bf of 16%. You want to lose 5% fat, which is 8.25 lbs.

If your DNP is not underdosed and you are totally honest about your stats and diet, chances are you've reached your target already, and it's covered up by bloat. Get off the DNP 4-5 days, watch the water come off. And learn about your body. Let us know how it went.

I have an "interesting" first DNP cycle going on. Just thought I'd share. Do not want to hijack your thread, but just an experience from northern Europe. Bear with me on this one :)

I've ran DNP now for 15 days, starting 10 days at 300mg/d and been at 400mg for the past 5 days; will run this for another 6 days, not going any higher on the dose.

I get sweaty as hell; I do cardio for 50mins a day 5 times a week and weights for 6 times a week. On Sundays I rest. The weight training is shitty even though I run 150g carbs during my exercise (intra drink).

I've been on 600kcal decifit the whole time. Carbs changing based on the excercise.

On training days it's 200g protein, 380g carbs and 70g fat (about 3k kcal) and on the rest day I consume 200g protein, 150g carbs and 70g fat (that's about 2k kcal).

I'm 6 feet (181cm) and 234lbs. I was losing weight around exactly 600grams per week before DNP (on average).

Now the funny thing. Since being on DNP for 15 days I haven't lost a gram. My morning weight in is exactly the same every morning (on an accuracy of 50 grams).

I run tren E at 250mg/week and Masteron E at 300mg/week on top of my HRT of 100mg/week test undecanoate. I also run letrozole at around 0.13mg ED and T3 at 40mcg ED. Been on this for 20 days (5 days longer than DNP).

Maybe I'm collecting muscle mass back after a break(was ill for 3-4 months and didn't train at all) or what in the hell is going on? I do not see an improvement really in the mirror; maybe I'll post photos once i've been OFF DNP for about five days and someone can figure this out? Maybe my DNP is bunk and the sweating and slight lethargy comes from the Tren?
