First home brew started

Hey homies, just completed my first semi successful home brew. I say semi case I found out hard way about caulking gun and pressure on a whatman filter. I had a little spillage. Meant to make 60 ml of test cyp at 250. I ended up with 2 full bottles of 20ml test c. I used the standard 18/2 ratio with mct oil. Tomorrow I will brew my npp and primo.

Question, for cleaning my glass ware I have isopropyl and soap. Should I get sterile water from store to clean glassware?

Ohh this part is important. Kinda how I fucked up and spilled some. Found out hard way that a FULL 60ml syringe is too big for caulking gun. Wasn’t till I hand filtered did I get it to fit.

So you made 40ml of test instead of 60ml? Did you use the same amount of powder you would have to make 60ml@250mg/ml?

Yes. I didn’t realize that a full 60 ml syringe wouldn’t fit in my caulking gun. I pushed like 10ml by hand which sucked when even warmed. Whatman slipped off and sprayed me. Lessons learned. Rest got put into vials safely. I hope I got 50 ml or close to it. It’s my first time.

Good job brother!!!.. I use a 10ml syringe and a mini caulking gun.. or if I'm brewing a small amount I'll just use a 3ml syringe and my hands..
You.learned a good lesson not to force the oil through the filter.
Npp is very easy to brew as well.. you can use the same bb and ba %. That what I use. 2/18.. I use a little heat and let her spin for awhile..
Same.for primo .. except take your time with primo... this is one compound you can't afford to lose.
All in all I say you in tje right path. Brewing the basic compounds is a breeze!!

If you leave a little air in the syringe the air becomes compressed and it'll filter longer before you have to squeeze it again.

Thanks homie. I'm glad I started with test cause I bought 100g for blast and cruise. I could afford to mess up a little test as a learning curve. Primo, I'm not spilling a god dam drop.

I'm not quiet following but I will say this. With the caulking gun I noticed that when I withdrew the 18 guage needle it kept spitting oil out the needle tip with out me squeezing gun. I assume this was a pressure build up. Not much came out but it did leak some. I also noticed that the vent needle leaked some oil during pumping. Maybe I over filled the vials. Like I said, this is a learning curve for me.

I assume this was a pressure build up. Not much came out but it did leak some. I also noticed that the vent needle leaked some oil during pumping. Maybe I over filled the vials. Like I said, this is a learning curve for me.

You should build yourself a syringe press if you don't like calking guns. If you got any more questions tag me and I'll sort you out brother

Just get a vacuum pump and brew a little bit of a larger batch. Then you'll be set for a while.

For beakers all you need to do is wash n scrub with dish soap and rinse off and let air dry. I bake my beakers for an hour at 350f, but I'm anal when it comes to keeping shit clean lol. You are using sterile vials so no need to run you through how to sterilize them.

Once you are done filling the vial you need to release the trigger on the caulking gun and let the last few drips come out. And the vent needle doesn't need to be pushed in all the way, it only needs to stick out of the stopper a millimetre or so.

I’m done. I brewed my test c on the left at 250 with 5% over, npp at 150 in center with 5% over and primo on the right at 200 mg. Crazy thing is all brews were 60 ml. Npp I fixed my mistakes from test brew yesterday. Not a drop spilled. Both test and primo are filled to brim and 60 ml give or take. I lost some test by being a newb. Overall great experience. I give it to panda, you order 10g you get 10 as per the pic at the bottom
