Hello guys,

I posted my question on my cycle log (here : Roberto - 30 yo Virgin going in ! )

But to sum up : I'm looking to start my first cycle. Very simple, very basic, I'm going to run around 400-500 mg Test E per week for about 12 weeks, with arimidex if needed.

For my PCT I know the "basic" is HCG + Nolva and/or Clomid. But for a first and "light" cycle, I read that Nolva without HCG can be enough.

What is your opinion on it ? And what are your experiences ?

And if my body would "need" the HCG and I don't take it, what's the worst possible scenario ?

Thank you for your help !

Is that you in your avatar? I know who that is and I've seen him in my gym for a couple of events. If so, change it. Stay anonymous bro.

HCG you typically start a few weeks into your cycle. Running it at 250iu twice a week. Usually on same day you inject your Test. Most are 5000iu per vial. you run it until the bottle runs out, then take a 1-2 week break. The reason to use it during cycle is to try and maintain LH function/production so its easier to recover when you go into PCT.

After your last shot of test you wait a couple weeks for it to clear. I personally then run 1000iu every other day for 10 days then start Nolva and Clomid together after the HCG administration. Has worked very well for me. YMMV.

There is no "light" cycle. You're either natural or "shutdown" and injecting test. For your first run stick with 500mg and commit is my best advice.

If you dont run HCG recovery may take a little longer to get LH and FSH numbers back up. Age, previous cycles, and your bodies unique chemistry all play a role in how quickly you can recover.

Not sure if the first paragraph is serious bro ^^You really think the World's TOP 2 Men's Physique is going to ask about his FIRST CYLCE ?! :D

I heard about HCG during and after the cycle, but my question is if Nolva CAN be enough.

But as you say, it changes from an individual from another... Then it's my first cycle, so I guess I have to see what works for me or not. And since it's the first cycle, that's also why I thought Nolva could be enough by itself.

But I think I'll just have to discover what works for me.

Thank you for your answer!

By the way, I take this opportunity to ask another question :

For a test only cycle, what is mandatory to ask on a blood work ?

  • LH
  • FSH
  • Estradiol
  • Tests
  • Free Tests
  • Is prolactin important ?
  • And T3 and T4 for that cycle ?
  • Something else ?
Thank you for your help !

Well, we all need some motivation and if he does it for you then win! ;) Personally, I like bikes and pussy :D:p

I cant answer if Nolva is enough. Check out some of the PCT section threads for some real life feedback on that. Then decide if it sounds right for you. Good luck!

Check out Private MD Labs. They have hormone panels you can select. Get the sensitive Estradiol test as it will be most accurate. No, on test only you dont need to test for prolactin. Not unless you're gyno prone or running 19NORS.

Bro, no offense but stop going for the easy answers and do some research. That way you will be more likely to retain what you learn along the way. Your questions have been asked thousands of times so thats why no one is responding.

Lol F*ck you bro ^^

I know there are a lot of people as you describe, and not only for products, but for training, diet, etc. but trust me I'm not "one of them". I've been doing my researches for almost a year now.
But it's pretty hard to find some articles on Nolva only pct for exemple, and from one I understood, at the end of the day it depends on the person and its history and genetics. So I guess I'll just have to see what works best for me.

Same regarding blood work, some people check 5430434 things on their blood work, other check Test and E2 and that's it. For exemple I've been advised to check prolactin, and then people told me it's useless for test cycles only.

And don't worry, I don't base my "research" only on this thread, I've read many articles, watched videos, studies, posted on numerous forum, talked to a lot of people... I just want to do things the right way, so I try to gather as many good sources that I can, to be sure to have as many info as I can, and then extract myself what is the most likely to work.

(And plus, I cannot even do bloodwork in my country, it's not as easy as in the USA. I asked twice different doctors to do just a testo blood work, and they refused).

But anyway, pretty much all is sorted out now. And I think I am ready. ;) :)
