First Timer with Coaching Paid for!

@LonelyDrug I agree that the internet has an overwhelming amount of knowledge available to anyone out there. Like I said I trust my coach. He has helped me achieve gains and a great physique in my last 2 shows I have done.
A little bit about me, I came originally from being 275lbs over 30% BF and I worked my way down to about 200lbs and 14% BF. I struggled at that point to get anywhere with my body and dieting. My coach helped me break the plateau and get leaner till I was down to 170lbs and 4% for my show. I personally dont feel I could have done better without his guidance. Everyone has there opinions though and to each there own.

me im sure you could have do it by yourself

im telling you it's not worth the money you spend

@LonelyDrug And it is not as simple as Eat Chicken and do Bench Presses. He meets with me once a week and at times my intake needs may have to change based on how the body is responding. Asking about energy levels. weight gain, judging were my BF is at that time. Then putting in the work to let me know to drop x amount of carbs replace with x amount of fat or protein. Workouts, he lets me know just how much Cardio I need to put in. What kind of rep schemes I should be working with for optimal results. He provides above and beyond what a traditional meat head of a coach would provide. He backs it up with degrees, experience and years of education.
Like I said though to each there own. Maybe your body type is very different from mine. Maybe you dont have the need for a coach cause your a natural athlete. As for myself my body wants to be a natural Doughboy, so IF I dont eat exactly the right amounts here and there my body just gets pudgy and I become that Doughboy that I never want to see in the mirror again from 6 years ago.

Ignore these clowns. I have no desire to compete and would not mind a coach just to motivate me and to learn from.

@legendary Thanks again, I posted a before pic from about 4.5 years ago. That was me around 255lbs. I struggled a long time. In the end my goal is to get back to around 230ish but a mass monster and take the bodybuilding stage instead of the physique stage. This year I am hoping to work up to the new Classic Physique which is a mix of body and regular physique class. A lot of work ahead of me with minimal cheat days and clean eating. I need about another 25lbs of lean muscle to get where I want by next Octobers show.

Awesome! We are nearly the same lol i came also from 255 down to 170 and Now back up to 185.
I also want to compete in classic physique but dont know if next year or 2 more years.
Good luck with everything keep us updated!
