for those of you who dont use heat for your brews..

So why don't guys here talk about this..

Would this steriliZe like an autoclave

im new to the board...I asked the same question....so many guys ion here are looked at like Jedi Master Brewers and Gear experts but none have ever mentioned the uv-c sterilization method.

This is what you use after the your gear is complete and sitting up waiting to be pinned...it only take a good 10 seconds for the uv-c light to do what it needs to do

some of these guys worry a lot that's why I wondered why they never mention it ..

Yea everyone is a professional brewer now

UV is often used in the medical device industry to sterilize things like surgical kits, bandages and instruments where heat or other sterilizing agents are simply too destructive. It appears to be very effective at killing most organisms hostile to humans. It would seem to be a good sterilization solution for the home brewer. That being said, all I have ever used was the .22 and a prayer that my environment had been controlled sufficiently. No infections to report as of yet... But the UV would be an added measure of safety in my opinion.

I've always used a .45 in 03 for hundreds of 20ml vials and not one friend, friend of a friend, or any of the grammer school kids ever even talked about infection ...
the .22 IMO is enough but I did always heat my gear ..
I know someone who brewed a lot of pellets with a .22 and no heat so I'd say the .22 is plenty ...

That UV light seems like a good investment for a lot more than gear ...
Will it kill yeast ... Foot fungus ..
anal bacteria ...
I mean not for me I love those things but some African American friends around my way, are not down with things like that ..

The yeast infections and foot fungus o_O

My Jamaican friend was just told by this girl that he's not putting any more miles on her pussy because he never eats the pussy or the butt ..
I said see I told you, you gotta give those things some attention

I like little tiny butts so most time I'll do it but gotta be clean. .
big butts hold sweat and I don't like them too big anyway ..

I am really surprised a black girl said that to him ..
I didn't know they were down with that

This is no woman on earth that doesn't like to have her carpet licked, and 99% truly enjoy a tongue in the butt (even if they won't admit it).

I tell guys that all the time and women agree but I never dated a 100% all African women so I was not sure

Also, would this light be dangerous for sterilizing hands because that fuckin antibacterial pump we have by the hand print time clock annoys the fuck out of me ..
I never use it but this UV makes sense

I was on the shitter in work before and got bored looking stuff up :-)

I heat and use. 45 never had issues I heat to just below boiling the water that the beaker is in.

I boil the water but watch it because I got some cloudy after filtering and found out it was condensation ...
no problem but doesn't look nice so I'm back to baking ...

I just started reading more about brewing and looking at other peoples brews when I should have just done the brewing like I did in 2003 never had a problem ...
that's just me trying to fix something that isn't broken

I thought steroids were uv sensitive

Who told you that?

There isn't any publication printed that ever stated that.

UV-C light kills germs...it doesn't have any bearing on the actual hormone in the vial.

What do you mean by sensitive...that a very broad statement
