Thanks for having me. I've been "lifting" since 20, seriously at 22. Like a lot in here, I started doing it for athletics. When that ship passed, I turned it into powerlifting and bodybuilding/hypertrophy. I remained a "Natty" up until around 40. Then, hop on the sauce. I moved from Southwestern PA to Columbus, OH, around 30. There, I was fortunate to train at the now Pros Gym, the Arnold Classic Gym. There, I was fortunate enough to learn from some of the best in the business.

Even through training, I was blessed to have instructors who guided me because they saw I worked hard in the gym. In the beginning, I had old school sweaty, stinky, etc, gyms in SWPA to train at. Guys threw me in a room with the barbells/dumbbells and told me to "Do this, this, and this. Don't complain, put the work in.". I did that. Went to Columbus, and there I had an old school Russian who taught me the Eastern European style of powerlifting/bodybuilding. I got to the point that ol' man Louie (Westside Barbell) visited the gym (It was Powerhouse at the time) during one of the Classics, and gave me a personal invite to Westside. I never took him up because it was on the other side of the city, and my job was literally half a mile from the gym. Plus, I was loyal to my coach.

Thanks for having me. I am here to still learn from anyone, and maybe help those I can. And, if you go to the Classic and visit the gym. Ask for the owner, Matt, and tell him Stacey sent you. Thanks again.
