I listened to Dr. Bruner on obesity and heard about some interesting breakthroughs and some drugs that will be coming on the market soon.

I heard Dr. Mark Gordon's full lecture and found him informative and entertaining.

Thanks, HeadDoc. Good find.

Dr. Denise Bruner has become a friend of mine. She's a wonderful person. I introduced her on stage the first time she presented before the Academy.

Dr. Robert Goldman did an interview of me for this same website while we were in London, but it didn't come out well enough to publish on there.

Good find HeadDoc... I downloaded most of them and will listen to them... Swale... any audio of you being intereviewed or lecturing about hormone replacement or anti-aging??

It was ok...

I just didn't like the fact that she made it seem like the US obesity problem is mostly genetic and environmental factors. Much of it comes down to the food choices we make, and exercise(lack thereof)

Having done numerous psychological evaluations for people seeking gastric bypass surgeries, I can tell you that most of the morbidly obese are not that way for lack of effort and will. Many have struggled since childhood. They have tried most of the conventional and some not so conventional attempts to lose weight. Now for those of us who are within 10-20 lbs of ideal body weight, I certainly agree that a bit more focus and effort are needed.

Definately...

I agree Head Doc. Who I was really referring to are the 30% of Americans that are overweight because they don't exercise and eat like crap. There are those out there who have definite physiological problems with regards to weight control.
