It is interesting, however, in a post that compared England pre-gun control and England post gun control, other countries (Norway, Switzerland) and even states within the US, the only thing that caused a "trigger" was the mention of black Americans and their higher murder rate - and even that was clearly in context. The context was, hey, compare apples to apples. As could be seen from the Canada vs. US study I cited, Kellerman, the "gun control"-supposedly-unbiased-researcher for the CDC simply failed to control for race, leading to an incorrect conclusion to his study, which was that the gun control in the Canadian city resulted in lower murder rates. Once race was normed for the two cities, subsequent researchers pointed out that murder rates were lower in the US city. Would Kellerman be willing to concede that looser gun laws lead to less murders? LOL! Hardly (I have actually talked to him about this).
In either case were the gun control laws correlation or causation? Kellerman contended they were causation when the results went his way (when he failed to control for race). When they don't, well, it's just a correlation and does not mean anything, LOL!
