So if you are interested in a laptop, it would be rise to buy a Ryzen 5000 series or earlier processor. Those do not have Microsoft's Pluton chip.
And no, you can't disable the chip in bios, no matter what they day. It's built into the hardware.
If you use Windows, especially later versions, you're screwed because it's Spyware, so it doesn't matter if there is a Pluton chip.
