For those of you that use a vacuum pump, don’t turn the pump off and leave the tubing connected. Best I can tell is the bottle will still hold a vacuum and will suck oil out of the vacuum pump into sterile finished oil. Found this out the hard way and ruined 700ml of sust doing this LOL.

Fuuuuuuuk I kno exactly what you’re talking bout but thankfully I’ve always disconnected. Damn man that’s a lot of oil .

How could you tell the oil ran in was it a different consistency or color. Aye that makes my heart hurt

My feelings were definitely hurt for a while lol. It never even crossed my mind. I came back 30-45 minutes later to bottle it up and there was oil in the line and 2 layers of oil (vacuum pump oil sat on top for a little but before mixing). Also, I used MCT oil so it was clear. When I came back, it was yellow .
