Think there is already a game thread but it's dead so this is the new one.

What videogames yall been playing? I've been gaming a lot this past year.

Obviously Borderlands 3 was awesome, my girlfriend loves borderlands 2 since I got her into the first couple, was super stoked when BL3 was announced, actually got another TV and a second ps4 so her and i could play co-OP and have a full screen to play on cuz splitscreen is whack.

Recently i played Death stranding which I'm glad I powered through the first 10 hours of kind of boring gameplay because the rest of the game turned out to be pretty incredible.

I am now playing the kingdom hearts games again since I havent played 3 yet. The playstation store had a sale and bad KH1, KH2, KH3 and like 5 of the spinoff games for like 30 bucks so I got it.

I beat the first, almost done with the 2nd, and looking forward to getting into the 3rd finally.

After that I also got the outerworlds on sale and downloaded which looks like it is going to be pretty bitchin as well.
 
I picked up Civilization 6 on PS4 a few months ago and was playing it a lot. I've been a big Civilization fan since the first one on PC in the 90's. Was playing a Witcher 3 around the same time. Been binge watching and listening to audiobooks more than gaming lately though. Probably gonna pick up the Final Fantasy 7 remake when it comes out next month.

I bought the new Kingdom Hearts game last year and haven't played it yet lol. Was actually trying to get my girlfriend into it and figured she'd like it being a more cutesy RPG with Disney characters along with Final Fantasy characters. I got the Final Fantasy X remaster a couple years ago and got her to play through it and she liked the story. We played through the latest Diablo game awhile back too.

How is civilization on console? I saw it and was tempted to get it, I used to play civic III on pc a loooooooooong time ago haha.

I played witcher 3 a while back, definitely a very strong RPG.

Have you played the latest god of war? Super duper good, blew away any of the earlier entries.

Also did red dead 2 awhile ago, very fun game.
 
Also forgot to say I bought a switch for my girlfriend a couple weeks back. She really wanted to play the new animal crossing when it comes out, untill then she got one of the new pokemon games(sword) and holy smokes it is amazing how far those games have come, the last one I played was sapphire and my goodness it is full 3d now and so many new game mechanics and graphics upgrades it is nuts.

I plan on getting some of the new zelda games for it for myself as well as the new smash brothers.

Civilization 6 actually plays surprisingly well on console. The only thing I didn't like that wouldn't happen with a mouse is your cursor and map scrolling are separate, so if you leave your cursor on a city and scroll your map away and forget your cursor is still on the city and you move it it'll snap you back to the place your cursor was. If you're conscious of that you can avoid doing it, but I inevitably end up doing it occasionally and it's annoying. Besides that it's great. I'm gonna buy the DLC at some point and get back into it.

I've never played any God of War games. Never played Pokemon either. Pokemon got popular after I was already grown, so I never got into it. I've looked at some of them online and they look cool. Looks like they play like old school RPGs like Final Fantasy Legend on Gameboy.

Nice, maybe I'll pick that shit up then at some point.

Yeah god of war is sick, the first few are button mashes for sure, but still a lot of tits and gratuitous violence and fairly fun. The new one is a bit more harder, you kind of have to think as opposed to just button rape.

Pokemon is great, it's a turn base monster fighting RPG.

There is definitely a nostalgia factor though so not sure how it would be for someone completely new.

I have heard alot of good and bad about WOW. I dont own a computer though so I've never played, and even on console online multiplayer arent really my thing. First off I'm a real slut for storylines, a good story like gets my rocks off for sure.
And secondly I never have enough time to invest in online multiplayer so I always get my ass locked by 12 year olds hahah
 
Zelda Breath of the Wild was amazing on the switch. Loved all the Kingdom Hearts games too. Skyrim and Wolfenstein on the Switch are awesome. That's the only system I have right now. Will have to pick up a PS4 once FFVII remake comes out.

I have heard great things about the newer zelda.

Yeah I'm loving replaying kingdom hearts, cant wait to see what 3 is like haha.

FFVII remake looks interesting for sure, looks like they adopted the XV gameplay style? Alot of people hated it but I enjoyed it so maybe this will be awesome too.

Might as well man, you can pick up a used ps4 for like 200, or less.
