Gene Rychlak benches 965!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"A shirt may not act the same way as a spring, but they both would reduce the load that the lifter sees, and that's my biggest point"

And a teflon coated skating suit reduces the load(wind resistance being lessened is like having 5lbs pulled off of you) the speed skater faces/overcomes.

Technically, my main put off was manwhore's typical ignorance on any subject physical(mma, bodybuilding, powerlifting, olympic lifting and probably football, but namely the first 4).
I know you don't like my posts and questions and i don't care, which if you notice, alot of my posts about anything physical is usually in the form of a question. Your too uptight. relax big guy .... Why don't you bring up some of the posts you don't like and we'll talk about them ;)

It's all good, 'whore. I'm not testy today...yet. LOL

I can't fucking believe it! I missed my goddamned kill shot. LOL As soon as I logged off and left the building, I knew what my last post should have been. Well, better late than never...

Since when does the shirt reduce the load? Put a 250lb lifter and 650lb barbell on a scale. It will read 900lbs. Now put that same guy and barbell on a scale, except this time he's wearing a shirt. It still reads 900lbs, doesn't it?

That's not quite how I wanted it to go, but I don't feel like fucking around this morning yet. Don't worry, though, I"ll be back. LOL ;)

My point is, 650lbs gets moved with or without the shirt. The shirt does not take off 100lbs from the bar. It still weighs 650lbs and it still goes from point A to point B and back to point A. At no point in its travels does the 650lbs become any less than 650lbs, shirt or no shirt.

You're arguing with a guy who has never even used a shirt grizz, it's pointless.

OK i'll admit,Wheather he used a shirt or not,the guy is obvioulsy pretty strong. Phreez, how do the guys look that are in your league of PLing? I mean alot of PLers i see have huge guts, but obviously you don't. I also see some smaller guys, and the smaller PLers impress me alot more, than the bigger guys with the guts. O Grizz,i don't know a damn thing about football, either. I'd rather watch a frisbee competition then watch football. :)

No, a lot of the "big" guys have guts. It's typical to hear/see more of them because the 300lbers are the guys who are pushing the most amount of weight, which is what most folks want to see/hear about. Like the rest of the world, there are more smaller PLers than there are really big ones. I'm not sure how many weight classes there are, but I'd imagine that the lower weights quintuple the 2 heaviest weights.

I knew you were some kind of weird hippy. I can see you through the screen. :D

Never used a bench shirt, either. :D

Although, I think his main point is that you seem to think the shirt gives you super lifting powers since you've never worn one. Had you done so, you would sing a different tune. Leastways, that's how I interpret him.

This is so much fun!

Again, you make a faulty analogy. Actually, you made it before, but because of all the segmented posts, it didn't register to me.

Using a shirt takes work and skill, plus it does not add an instant boost, whereas rockets on your skates DO add instant boost and, aside from balance, require no skill whatsoever to use. They propell you without any physical exertion or ability.

I wanna get in this
:) .... But without balance, which can take some time to get,you will fall flat on your face

have used bench shirts and my bench increased about 60 lbs from the first time i tried one....thats a big jump, and if i used it regularly i could problably got even 90 lbs out of it.
I guess it doesn't require that much skill.

I have only been commenting from the sideline???

Oh well, think what you will... Honestly, I no longer give a shit what you think anyway, so believe what you will, it matters little to me either way. Becaue You are right Frosty... You are always right Frosty, and you will always be right no matter what you are debating.

Take care,

I really don't care to argue over this, but yes, you've only been commenting from the sideline on this little debate between me and Grizzly. You had a couple quips and then you just went on to insulting.

That's not counting your explanation of the bench shirt. I give you credit for that, but like I said, with respect to the little debate me and Grizzly have, you've only been making little quips and insulting.

I don't reallly remember insulting you...I re-read my posts, and I still don't see where I did... but if you say I did, I must have. God knows; right or wrong, you'll argue your point till the end of time.

So again, believe whatever you choose to believe. I really don't care.

Take care,

Phreezer

Lol... If you consider those insults, then you really need to grow some tougher skin, "girlie man" ;).

I really am through arguing with you Frosty...

You can be right if it makes you happy!!!!

Take care,

Geez look at all the cool stuff I missed since I was here yesterday. Well I just got a new shirt to try out. And I can say that normally in my old shirt i was pushing around 490. This new shirt I tryed out I quit at 415 cause I felt like I was gonna dump the bar every damn time on my face. Shit was tight I had to shimmy my hand down the bar to get them at my comp grip. Point is 415 is only approximately 25 lbs over my raw max. Now I can continue to try and use this shirt and learn the groove of it and maybe it will be better then my old loose ass demin. But I severely doubt it. I have even seen guys bench less in a bench shirt because the couldn't handle the groove the shirt put them in! So there was no mircle lbs given to me. I have been using bench shirts for a little while now so that is about the only reason I didn't kill my self with a barbell sunday afternoon and got the lifts that I did.

Again, fans are a means of independent propulsion. They might not work as well as rockets, but they certainly get those boats to go pretty damn fast and a boat gliding on water is quite comparable to a person gliding on ice.

And we dance the same two steps again...but, somehow, shoes that immediately improve performance without any skills being mastered are alright.
