Basic opsec. If you think starting a new email address is a pain in the ass, try losing $600 like another member did because a believable scammer got their meso name @ proton email address.

That email was gmail and it was hacked so they had access to my account and they stopped every message going out and just replied to it or some shit I don’t really know how it’s done all I know is every one I sent went to a different email and they replied. If that is what it is then it’s the same thing that happened on my gmail account years ago. Your email is hacked and they are sending messages and changing all the information to make it look like a real one. Check your setting and see if your messages are set on undo send within a few sec up to a min if so they click undo send and just respond to it somehow and make it look like a message has been sent is all I could come up with. Can’t figure it out bc I don’t have that much time or understand of it .so I just opened a new email.

Right, but the lower case portion is just a name and not actually part of the email address, which is found between the <>s. Here's what the email address looks like, using a different font (default for the forum's CODE:

Lower case L instead of upper case I for both "I"s in the email address.

kilgore1313, see my other reply to AlexDavis43. The upper case email address in brackets does have lower case Ls instead of upper case Is. To see it more clearly, copy and paste into a text editor and play around with various fonts to see which will clearly distinguish between the two.
