Getting sick from overtraining, can steroids fix this?

Hello,
I have little to increase workout load, so sometimes (twice a year this year) i get sick from overtraining if everything is not on point (like starting a new program, adding a few nights of little sleep or going out and drinking alcohol), my question is: considering i keep the same volume, would adding steroids prevent me from getting sick from too much training?
Also, what is the best course of action once you get sick? Did a deload week with half the intensity and more rest days, but it's going to linger for another week it seems.
And yes, i got too much fatigue accumulated and got sick due to it and not keeping up with the resting or adding aditional stressors, it wasn't random.
Thanks.

Based on what you said, sounds like overreaching. True long term overtraining is well past the overreaching state. I experienced long term overtraining that took years to recover from, so I'm very familiar.

Regardless, the answer for both is cutting back or rest. So no, if your body is stressed by your current volume and other life factors, steroids is not going to help you overcome the training load. Lyle McDonald's overtraining, overreaching, and all the rest series is a great read, Google it. The body has to be able to adapt to the stress training provides, and rest gives it the ability to absorb it.

Can you list the symptoms that are present?

Stop overtraining

I get sick when I drink too much. Should I use heroin to stop this?
When i was on roids i was doubling the volume i normally do and wasn't tired or sick, and everyone roids in sports to be able to train more.
So many people can't think for themselves. I'm waiting for someone to come on here and ask how to wipe their ass, or tie their shoes.
Elaborate.

I just get a "cold", sore throat, stuffed nose, chest mucus, and so on.
It happens if im training very hard, close to my max recovery, i see it coming and i usually have a deload week and everything turns out fine, but if instead i get an emergency and have to sleep poorly for 3-4 days or i go out and drink too much, i just get sick all of a sudden for like 2 weeks, it's not like im about to die, im just sick and do a deload while it lasts, but would rather not get sick in the first place.

I have a very regular scheldule and everything dialed in, im trying to figure out if i can increase training load with roids (and which ones to take).

You could have one of a thousand medical conditions.

may have nothing to do with training.

get your TSH ( thyroid) checked, get blood work, see a Dr

You literally said in your response to Gbro that you took roids and doubled your training and never got sick. Which is exactly what you asked in your first post. Sounds like you have your mind made up, why ask in the first place.

I think you should correctly cycle the load, as I think you are overloading yourself a lot. Or find a specialist who will plan your training process

If it is not difficult you can describe the number of macronutrients for your weight how much you use and approximately the training process by workouts, weights, and reps. We can take these factors and adjust the loads

It's just too hard:
40-50%C, 25-30%F, 30-35%P, one day a week low carbs or even 36 hrs of fasting some weeks, 4k-4k5 kcals to maintain weight or slight gains, diet is perfect, 10% tops from "bad foods". 86kilos. 8-9 hours of sleep.

40 mins of running or HIIT in the bycicle Monday-Friday, drills and sprints on Sunday for around 1 hour. Increasing the running amount every week.

Lifting as much as i can handle, around 4,5hrs a week. About to start a 5x5 for bench, squat, dlift, mpress, bb row and weighted pullups next week, with few accessories.

1+ hour of boxing Monday-Friday, and the wildcard: sparrings here and there which fatigues me the most.

Also, now that we are at it, i would like to know when is the best time for a steroid cycle, when you are working towards general strength, max strenth, power, or even speed? considering you only want to cycle for a couple of months and hence can't train everything while on cycle.

You need to get tested for STD’s because this honestly sounds like genital warts in the throat

What is all that cardio and boxing doing for you? ipck a goal and stick to it, sounds like you are doing way too much of everything. I doubt 4000-4500kcal is enough to see much gains with all that activity as well.

No its not hard.

Idk but it cant hurt to try! I remember training natty. Im 34 now and the older I got the less good it felt to lift, just overall. Now im not natty and physical exertion is almost erotic at times!! Much more enjoyable experience this side of the pin! But alas, to echo things already said, you will get injured over training and the risk is greater on gear because you can push even harder. The fatigue you accumulate on gear is much more than natty. I recently went on cruise after a heavy gear cycle and got stronger because I was getting more sleep.
