GLP-1/HGH SubQ location matters?

I've been reading a lot of comments on multiple boards of people claiming that GLP-1 injections worked better for them when doing their stomach VS thighs, even though both were done SubQ. I know some people try to avoid the stomach area due to fear of some kind of scarring down the line, but I'd really like to know if there is any science on this (stomach VS other areas, SubQ).

I do remember reading that there was a difference between absorption on glutes vs delts IM.

I've been jamming GH into my thighs recently (SubQ) simply because I can just jam it with my eyes closed and not feel a thing; stomach I have to pinch etc.

I'd like to hear your experiences/your thoughts or if you have read any science on this.

IMG_1956.webpi have recently started doing hgh/peptides in my upper outter thigh towards the beltline, no problems, i also do upper glutes below the beltline, was getting tired of stomach area, seems i was getting "lumpy" at times, don't know if it was actually scar tissue forming or just irritated tissue from repeatedly jabbing for close to 2 years of subq stomach area,,,, ymmv

hello, apparently Sub Q injections absorb the fastest in the stomach area, next the arm after that the thigh. I haven't noticed any difference personally.
here is a reference (for insulin)

Listen, Ateam is correct.

Despite the belief "big pharma" throws these drugs together, the billions spent on development mean they don't leave any detail to chance.

The location of injection directly affects the speed it's absorbed, the way it's metabolized, and even how
much immune response develops (by which lymph node it's carried to and how quickly that happens) meaning it doesn't work as well now, and is weaker in the future too. So it really does matter.

When in doubt with a pharma peptide, follow the manufacturers guidelines. They choose these spots based on research using the compound on test subjects, it's not random.

For Tirz and Sema:

Just as important is the volume. For Tirz you should be shooting for as close to .5ml volume as possible. Less is bad. More is ok.

For HGH some people get less sides IM, because the immune system doesn't respond as strongly there, resulting in less inflammation that can reach distant areas causing joint pain (beyond the joint pain HGH can cause as a common side effect).

Thanks @Ghoul. I did inject my first ever dose of Tirz (first GLP-1) in my side glutes...I wonder if that altered my response in any significant way; I've had 0 sides and only positive things so far (no major appetite reduction, but food noise nearly gone which what I'm after; 0 desire to cheat or have fast food).

Been doing the exact same some, but apparently this has been slowing absorption; I never had lumps when doing SubQ in my stomach, except for that one time I tried SubQ Test...

This is very informative, thanks!

FYI gluteal subcutaneous fat has isolated compartments that make it very slow to absorb injections from. Great for butt "augmentation", pharma pellets, terrible for administering shots into.

I wasn't aware of this; thanks for pointing this out Ghoul.
