Deadlift today, 1x1 535. That went up good. I know I had more in me, next cycle I’ll try 550. I actually had trouble hitting 2x3 475lbs during my warming up phase. My legs starting shaking really bad and I failed on my third lift. I almost passed out too, I had to take a knee. I always get light headed deadlifting. On almost every single lift.
 
I can see that. It’s the breathing. I take a big deep breath in my belly, and hold it. I just hope if I pass out, no one sees it lol
We have a monolift at my gym and this kid was destroying himself on a heavy 5x5, none around. luckily he was filming.

there is a spot on the back side of the mono to have a second bar resting (maybe 24" - 30" off the floor) and there is one there that never moves. It bent under a bunch of weight one day and since has become a bar that simply holds a bunch of 45lb plates.

Well, homeboy does his thing and he is starting to struggle early in the set. His knees are caving in a bit and his form is crap but he keeps going. his last rep kills him. he passes out and falls forward. the mono has some strapping set up to catch the bar in case of an accident and that does its job very well but that bent bar, lol. yeah buddy. he goes face first into this bar and it's being video taped.

remember I said no one was there? That tape should have been locked up in a "no one sees this ever" vault, right? He posts in online and I walk into the gym one day to a group of guys laughing like you read about. They show me the video. couldn't get any better than that. I'd get it and post it but I don't want to do him like that, not too cool bahaha!

Oh fuck! That’s funny, I would never let some see that shit if it happened to me. Unless I’m deadlifted something like 700lbs lol
 
Actually I do have something to update. My wife and I smoked some weed Saturday and proceeded to have sex like teenagers afterwards. It was awesome. She smokes off and on but I haven’t in years bc my old job random drug tested. My new one does not. I’m not going to make a habit of it bc I got the munchies so bad afterwards that I ruined my diet lol
 
Weight is 232 today. Up about 10 lbs since I started smoking. Shit would be awesome if I was bulking lol the munchies ain’t no joke. Did squats today, 2x5 415. Felt great, felt strong after my deload.
 
Dropped 6 pounds in one day. I had to be holding water or something bc my weight belt fit fine yesterday but today I’m lighter. Oh well. Bench today, worked up to 325. Was suppose to be 2x5 but ended up 1x4, 1x3 bc I didn’t have a spot and didn’t want press my luck on more reps. I’m pretty sure I could have gotten 5 the first time but I stopped. I need to find a spot on Tuesday’s, fuck it sucks.

I was having a tough time looking at 355 on the bar without a spot yesterday. Some folks get amped up without a spot, I get nervous and always doubt myself. Luckily someone showed up and could spot me. Easy with someone there, not so easy alone

I’m like you. I know I can lift it, but I feel better with a spot. I just don’t wanna get the bar stuck on me and have to yell for the 115 lbs girl at the desk to come help me lol
 
Push press yesterday, nothing special 2x5 205. Deadlifted today, 1x5 495. I used the new platforms they installed and I like them. I gotta get used to it tho. I’m used to standing on rubber floor instead of wood. I’ve had a new sense of urgency in the gym recently and I’m loving it. It’s helped me push thru some mental blocks I’ve had while lifting, like giving up a rep or 2 early bc I think I’m spent. My weight is back down to 225, my abs are starting to slowly come back out again.
 
Squats today, 2x3 430. Felt good, my form was kinda bad on the last rep of each set but I’m happy with it. I’ve been eating like shit recently, especially on the weekends.
 
Well this is fucking nice. I finally get a spot, bench 2x3 340 and I’m happy with it. I’m doing close grip bench and focusing on triceps when I feel my right shoulder cuff rip. I was only using 225. It instantly hurt, it’s not black n blue yet but we will see. I was able to finish the rep. And it doesn’t hurt that bad right now but I can tell something is wrong. I can’t lift my arm straight up. I’m hoping it’s just a little tear and heals quick. I’ll only Doing legs the rest of the week now and cardio.
