Good Day - Buongiorno - Bonjour - Buenos Dias

I saw him in person two times. I feel so lucky. At the 1970 concert, there was BB King, Ten Years After, Grand Funk Railroad, Johnny & Edgar Winters, & more. BB King was unbelievable. I was in a campsite no more than 100 yards from the stage. I awoke to him playing. Hendrix played the Star Spangled Banner at sunrise. So much more ...

My other "great" concert, although no Hendrix, was Watkins Glen 1973. Hendrix was at Atlanta Festival 1970. As you know, Hendrix, Joplin, & Morrison all died 1970-1971. I quit college after the deaths of Hendrix & Joplin. After that, I "traveled" Timothy Leary style a few years.

I had the rare luck to see Watts do a reading at Wellesley College.
