So I've been hitting the gym first thing in the morning before work.
Im liking it so far because I get my work out in and don't have to worry about it for the rest of the day.
Last week I would get up and bang some jack3d,grab a couple bottles of water and go.
But now im starting to wonder if getting something in my stomach would help.
It would have to be something fast absorbing, I have to get to the gym at 5:30 when it opens to have enough time to get it in before work and the gym is only 5 minutes away.
Im thinking a shake with whole milk, whey, oats, banana.
Does anyone else do anything like this? I guess im wondering if there would be any benefit considering I'd basically be drinking it while walking into the gym. Or should I just wait and have it afterwards?
I have a shake with milk, banana, half cup oatmeal, flaxseed oil, 1 egg, scoop of whey, and natty peanut butter 30min after I wake up (bang GH first thing) then 30 minutes later take my preworkout and I'm off to the gym.
You're not cutting so I'd say get something in your stomach..
