He's def wrote the book on being one of the dominant competitive fighters on the planet...his training regiment is still intense for any age

I would have liked to see it go on though that was premature stoppage imo

but had it gone on longer a more dominating victory would have silenced Shamrock. I like how Gracie said leading up to the fight he wanted to inflict punishment on him, instead of beating him with superior technique. He got the side mount and started dropping hammers on Shamrock, it just would have been nice to see him brutalize him uncharacteristically with ground + pound to really silence everyone

Shamrock looked as if he had lost muscle mass since his fight with Kimbo. His upper body looked softer and his legs seemed to have lost a lot of size.

Shamrock will hang himself after this, he hasn't gotten over their first fight 20 yrs ago, now this devastating loss.

Shamrock is headed for a massive bout with depression, I truly feel for the guy. He is in great shape, especially for 52, but his physique is slowly withering, even compared to his recent fight with Kimbo (or maybe he spent more time on cardio for this fight).

But to give Shamrock some credit, he did take a knee to the groin area...the ref simply didn't catch it. At any rate, Shamrock needs to look into alternatives. Hang it up and be grateful he is a legend and one of the original pioneers of the sport.
