Growth Hormone oral spray...another gimmick?

Ok, so after years of buying overhyped supplements promoted by guys who got their real gains from aas, I'm always skeptical of new supplements and the so-called great claims made on their effectiveness. I was at my chiropractor's office a couple weeks ago and he quite passionately said he thought that growth hormone would be the closest thing to a fountain of youth and is a great way to speed recovery from workouts and/or injuries to muscles/connecting tissue etc.
I give him a lot more credibility than I would most other medical professionals because he is a power lifter himself and appears to be fairly down to earth in general. His last bench competition he got 545 and he's shooting for 600 in his next one. That's pretty damn good in my book.
Anyhoo, he's recommended this growth hormone oral spray that you spray in the mouth and don't swallow, but let it sit in mouth until it's absorbed. I asked him if it is suposed to promote the body's own production of growth hormone or if it actually had growth hormone in it and he said it contains growth hormone.
I'm still fairly skeptical, but as I am 3 weeks into my first cycle with a strained bicep, I'm kinda looking for anything that will heal me up quicker than the ice and ibuprofin is doing.
Anyone out there have any experience or knowledge on this stuff? Is it just another crock of crap with bs claims or can it actually help one to recover faster etc?

thanks

There is currently no viable, oral growth hormone product on the market.

Those who claim sublingual GH is beneficial use psuedo-science and anectdotal claims only. There are no peer reviewed, scientific studies published to back up any of their claims.

Any perceived benefit from such a product is due to the power of the mind. The placebo effect.

There have been some studies which show it is possible to increase the body's natural GH output. However, the dosages of certain amino acids and others substances necessary to do this are extremely high and impractical for daily use.

rumor has it that's what david boston does. as soon as he's off the field, they put an IV in him of various vitamins/amino acids, and DAMN look at him, he's a beast

Thus why i stated "Rumor has it" before I said that. We all know he's doing a lot, but his trainers say they pump him full of vit's + AA's after workout + games to keep him big... lol

I know a few players who play with him and they claim he was never juicing just using up words of 10-12 ius of GH ED offseason. Since joining the dolphins he has dropped about 25 pounds so im assuming he cut down on the GH big time. NFL players live off of Suspension and GH.

MR said it all. There are things in the works.....drugs that would mimic GH (i.e. activate GH receptors), but they wouldn't be peptides themselves but just a drug whose structure would mimic the relevant region(s) of GH....they would/will be orally available....don't hold your breath though....it'll be a while

my friends father is retired from serrano (manufacturers of GH). he said the only GH is injectable. no one has developed oral spray or a pill yet. hope this helps.

More F**king Bull Sh*t of course!
When are the supplement companies going to learn that we are not a bunch of ignorant cave men. Just sell them some kind of tree bark with a bunch of medical babel. The stupid public will buy anything!
