How many of my brothers are sick and tired of left wing talking monkeys trying to take the weapons away from law abiding citzens. I include the vast majority of members here as being law abiding citzens in every other way other than aas.

Mental illness is the true problem but the cocksuckers in Washington blame their own failed ideology.

I'm for back ground checks and other measures that protects the public from lunes, but to take weapons from people who need to protect their families is not the answer.

I am deeply sadend from this last mass killing, but it is because mental illness has been on the back burner since that worthless pos Reagen was in office.

The rooster has come home to roost. Big fucking surprise.

It never stops big paul. Every unfortunate shooting is another excuse to blair the left wing trumpet for gun CONFISCATION. Remember they don't want "control". This is who they are and they won't change. Too bad their logic doesn't work. They miss the point the gun is in the hands of a human. Never seen a lone gun kill 7 people in a mall or a school.

I blame it on time outs ead of spankings.
It may sound crazy, you may be right. Spare the rod, spoil the child. Honestly, these cock suckers shoild have had the ever living shit beat out of them, so they would grow up to be good citizens.

That would work or st the very least he would be so traumatized, he might be afraid to leave his house.

It's all political bullshit.

Make an investment in mental health care and most tragic shootings like this would not happen.

I'm all for Civil War part two if there is ever any attempt to keep firearms from the public.

MENTAL ILLNESS is the common thread in every one of these attacks.

How's those "gun free" zones working out. This last shooting had a response time of 20 minutes for LEO to arrive, and the ONE unarmed security guard couldn't do shit.

I'm all for reasonable gun control ie, back ground checks, wiating times and limited magazine size.
I have not seen anyone trying to come take my weapons... should I be worried?
Shit, it's elk season.... I need my 7mm

Those "left wing talking monkeys" are Democrats like you, Paul. IOW, those are your people; you gave them power. If you don't like their positions on gun control, maybe you should consider changing the way you vote.

Reagan? Reagan's been out of office for 26 years, and there's been a Democrat in the White House for almost 15 of those years. One would think they've had ample time to do something about the mentally ill, no?

Regardless, since you're so interested in going back in time, you might like to hear some facts rather than liberal talking points: In 1967, then California Gov. Ronald Reagan signed the http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/calawquery?codesection=wic, which prohibited forced medication or extended involuntary hospital committals without a judicial hearing - a position I happen to agree with and I suspect most others do as well. This bill, which quickly became a national model, was pushed primarily by a group of young, liberal activists on the Assembly Office of Research staff and was inspired by those fighting for the civil rights of the mentally ill who envisioned taking the mentally ill out of the large institutions and housing them in smaller, community-based residences. Unfortunately, legislatures controlled by both parties since the legislation was enacted have failed to adequately fund these residences.

The Lanterman-Petris-Short Act and other commitment laws provide that if a person engages in an act of serious violence against someone else, or demonstrates a likelihood of suicide, commitment for involuntary long-term treatment is supposed to be pretty easy. But it isn't easy because progressive views (Democrats) on mental health, a misguided ACLU, courts reluctant to act, and a SCOTUS ruling in 1975 (O’Connor v. Donaldson, 422 U.S. 563) that found there is "no constitutional basis for confining such persons involuntarily if they are dangerous to no one", have made it damned near impossible to involuntarily commit anyone. That's what led to the utter neglect of the mentally ill and homeless that you see today. So the chickens coming home to roost has a lot more to do with the people you voted for than Ronald Reagan and the Lanterman-Petris-Short Act. Lanterman-Petris-Short was a noble goal. Reagan's a convenient scapegoat, though. Big fucking surprise.

Went to that school to knock out lower level credits a few years back.

It was a "Gun Free Zone" then too and the Glock was always in my bag. No fucks given.

Would rather be expelled from a shitty community college than end up a victim of some mentally ill mystery meat beta male.

And yet every single law maker supporting this anti -gun movement is what? Protected by individuals with guns...

I'm not exactly a conspiracy theorist. However, i AM a realist and a firm believer in the saying, "history forgotten is bound to be repeated," i.e. Nazi Germany and their confiscation of firearms.

Some people have a difficult time visualizing that as a possibility here in our country. .. but is it really that far off? The government is full of smoke and mirrors. They catch your eye with the left to rape you with the right.

Guess what party defeated background checks when they controlled the Senate.

54-46: Senators torpedo gun background checks

Why DO we have any mental illness in this country? I was told that's one of the reasons we needed Obama Care passed.

Everyone cry's about mental illness, while all the while we have rampant gang, and drug violence. I'll use liberal run Chicago as an example which has some of the toughest gun laws in the nation. Better yet, let's look at all of the most violent cities, which political party is in power, and what type of gun laws are in force. The way I see it, certain factors are "so" concerned with all the gun related deaths, and yet in light of all the videos still support Planned Parenthood.

"The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that the supply of arms to the underdogs is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty. So let's not have any native militia or native police. German troops alone will bear the sole responsibility for the maintenance of law and order throughout the occupied Russian territories, and a system of military strong-points must be evolved to cover the entire occupied country." - Adolf Hitler

Making the pubic defenseless is not the solution.

If one of the victims had a pistol, the shooter would have been dead before he pulled the trigger.

I will trust competent citizens to conceal and carry, and kill if necessary.

Sounds like the guy was a total faggot. How terrible to allow someone like that to take even one life. What a shame.

I don't know why I am even responding to your post but here goes.

Mental health took a back seat since Reagan. All he did was shift people from mental institutions to prison. The guy had dementia in office.

Why so angry cbs? Are you mad all the time?

So are you saying the democrats that have been in power since Reagan, "including the current POS in office" have been powerless to change this?
I think that is a big stretch to blame Reagan for this. And kinda funny !!!!!
