Guns

I want to see a picture of the weapons spelling out Meso!
I can take pics of my home defense carry handgun now later tonight when my daughter is asleep. My rifles are in a safe keeping place, until we move to our new house along with the other handguns. We have two firearms in the house, my wife's H&K P30SKS and my FNX 45 tactical.

I will take one pic and I'm being generous doing so. No need to lie about having firearms. And if he no one believes it that's fine I'm not here to prove anything to anyone. Just sharing what I have in a thread. Gotta have a pretty dull life to try and reverse look up pics.

I can be 98% certain that only two of my pics are on the net. The others arent. Well now they are in here.

No need for more pics. I just love looking at weapons. Keep the serials concealed online.

Is that a scar heavy or light?

Edit: nvm. I see it's the light. Why you didn't go with the 308?
I choose mag capacity over power. Most encounters will be close range and 5.56/.223 is enough power for me in my environment. The 16S is loud for 5.56 even with a suppressor on it. The SCAR 17 is much louder. One day I might get the SCAR 17. I've been procrastinating on purchasing the short barrel for my SCAR 16. I have my tax stamp for it.

Its a simple procedure. I did it in between beers and cutting a rug with my wife.
Posting serial numbers would seem like a terrible lapse in judgement. Dont you think?

Yes it would be a terrible lapse in judgement. And idiotic of me. S&W 500 is not my pic. But it's part of my collection.

Next firearm I want is the CZ 75 Shadow.

Whenever these "personal" threads are posted it leaves members open for bad things to happen. Whether it be cars, guns, houses, whatever. Better take precautions linking yourself to anything. The longer a member is here the easier it is to connect the dots
Be careful.
I definitely understand the concern. Thank you.

I dont often entertain the idea of buying high end rifles. Mainly because of the price associated with such items and i am a family man so $2k just doesnt come around that can be freely spent often. I am currently tickling the idea of buying an AR15. Some time down the road.
What should be on my radar for AR's?
What should i be paying?
Besides the original MF, Colt, who makes the best rifles?
Im interested. Lets see what pops up

AR-15's I find very much like cars. There are basic models that will get you where you need to go and the high end models are straight up luxury. Our military generally goes to war with basic AR's (but full auto).

Being a family man I assume you want a quality rifle for an affordable price.

Stick to any major brand with a good warranty and you should do fine. The AR is a basic weapon. Nothing advanced really. Relatively old technology that has yet to be beaten still.

So the real question is are you going gas impingement or piston? That will likely determine high brand you want to go with.

A good entry level is a m&p sport. I've put a bunch of rounds through mine without a hiccup.
I did see that one early on. Being that its made by Smith&Wesson is a huge plus. Also it is on the lower end of the range. $600 is a nice range

I dont need luxury. Nor do i really care about it. I never seen a bedazzled hand grip save some ones life and i dont care for vanity. Just a nice model AR would be nice. I just never knew sooooo many MF made the AR. I want to avoid the pretenders

Ruger has another great entry level AR.

Ruger® AR-556® * Autoloading Rifle Models

I would start with the M&P 2 (I didn't know they came it with a 2!) or the Ruger.

(I would honestly choose the M&P myself).

I remember that 7 lb rifle was heavy as fuck after holding it cheeseburger grip for a few minutes. They used it as a disciplinary tool. Shoulders and grip would be burning. Havent used one since. Fond memories. Would like to OWN one just to revisit that

Anderson makes some quality entry level AR-15s too.
I think they are probably one of the least expensive.
But honestly, you might as well just build your own with all the bells and whistles cause as soon as you buy a basic model your just gunna be obsessed and buy all that shit anyways.
Then you got a bunch of leftover parts.
Then you think damn I only need like 2 more parts and I'll have another gun.
Then you have 2 ARs.

Lol, i dont plan on big budget gun collections. Bodybuilding, fishing and the family have the whole budget taken care of. Especially the BB & the food. A basic AR would be nice :)
